DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Yes, I think it would be very difficult to do a full world of color type infrastructure at DAK.

But it wouldn’t be difficult to have something like rivers of light with lots more fountains. 12 of those Lilly pads would have been able to do some really cool stuff.

That, plus the new aerial drones from Paris and I think you would have a great nighttime show for Animal Kingdom.

Did they do dessert parties/dining packages for RoL when it opened? I know Tiffins was pretty new at the time but cannot remember if it hosted dining packages like the Fantasmic ones. There aren't many table service restaurants in AK to do dining packages in either

Not enough attractions to keep the park operational till 9 pm, which seems to be the standard to run a nighttime show.

Tropical Americas could help, but my gut feeling it still won't be enough. I'd be content with some middle ground - run a show seasonally when you can start it 7 pm or 8 pm for most of the year.

It's sort of the chicken or egg first dilemma.

Tropical Americas is a great start but the park will still only have 8 rides. That’s why they seriously need to consider a Pandora expansion. They have room for 1 more E Ticket attraction over by Navi. Imo the park needs another coaster

DAK could really use a well themed family coaster

Make it indoor through a Pandora jungle.
That way you can explore Pandora through sky, water, and land

Tarzan seems great!

Not having Up featured somewhere in "ride" form seems to be the biggest hole. A modern day ET / Peter Pan-esque flying dark ride would be amazing.

Also, the Lion King log flume needs to be fast-tracked. AK is hot AF, more water rides!.

I think the lines of TA will be so long it could warrant keeping the park open late enough for some new show, but yeah still needs more. DAK is weird because its like Disney Adventure World where it's great it's getting this cool new stuff but still not enough and not quick enough

one idea if they want to keep the park open late - have some really cool unique entertainment in Africa. Some outdoor street shows, a unique evening show in the lion king theatre…. Pull people over there to help balance the crowds.

building LK ride over by the LK theater would be so nice imo and really help balance crowds having a major ride in the NW quadrant of the park. Maybe it could even be built in a way to allow it to stay open past dark?

personal pitch would be give me a lion king ride (and Black panther if they ever get the rights) in Africa, and over in Asia knock down Kali and build a Jungle Book ride and a Raya spinner, then build a big new land in the expansion plot in the back

Kali could/should be expanded and turned into a jungle book ride where characters narrate factual cool things about the Kali River. Instead its a pretty bad river rapids ride that feels way too short and theming is bad lol

as long as it doesn't end up in Villains Land... that would be the worst theme break ever. Did the Emporers new Groove do well at the box office? I just watched it for the first time since everyone was talking about it, and I have to say, it feels completely like a Disney JR TV show... It was cute, but that's about it. Certainly nothing I would consider building an attraction for...when there are hundreds of better IP related ideas out there....

Both great ideas! Finally, they should tie them all together by having some sort of nocturnal animal exhibit building where they highlight different animals that are only active during the night.

ENG was the first major sign that the renaissance era was over.

They did try out a nighttime safari multiple times around the time when Rivers of Light debuted in the hopes of having longer hours for AK so it is possible. Someone with more info on that can correct me if I'm wrong.

I could be wrong, but I think Pandora (movies, etc) are past their prime. The land we have, at night, is amazing, but I don’t think expansion is necessary.

Plenty of other animal world/continents to expand to.

my personal pitch is gimme a Peru pavillion at epcot w the ENG coaster there and put UP as a third ride at TA.
