News Bluey arrives at Disneyland Park in March 2026

Any successful production in the Fantasyland Theater or Hyperion should have EXACTLY that effect.

And Bluey is incredibly popular, as one of the most streamed shows for the past several years.

If Bluey can't get people into that theater, they might as well tear it down.

Absolutely it should have that effect. Whether it does or not I have my doubts. I hope to be wrong of course.

I just feel 2 months after this opens it’ll be playing to a couple hundred people.

We’ll see I guess. I hope I’m wrong and it’s a solid show that plays to packed audiences. But in my mind it’s not going to be much more than the Pixar dance parties they did.
If for nothing else it’ll be a place where families with young kids rest for a bit while the kids dance. So that alone has me more likely to believe it’ll remain fairly full even months later.

But yes we’ll see how it goes.

If anyone is still wondering why this show is coming to DL and who its for, Bluey once again was crowned top streaming show of the year.

This show is for all of the families that stream Bluey constantly, and it appears there are MANY at over 45 Billion minutes watched in 2025.

Come on, Disneyland! You do better than that! I mean, why can't you make another show that's similar to this?View attachment 911514
They did!*

*in Hong Kong, Paris, and I believe Tokyo. BETTER versions of this show too.

But not sure what you were expecting here, we've all known Bluey was coming to this spot for a few months.

I'm hopeful that Bluey will get people to pack that space and hopefully convince Disneyland that this theater is a viable space that should be put to use more often. Because the reality is that if Bluey can't fill this theater, then nothing can.

Will you look at that synergy. Still think the Coco ride is opening in 2028?
You haven't read it closely, there is no mention of the DL show in the article, ie there is no synergy. The "Stage Show" mentioned is the recorded version of the Bluey tour show that happened recently, similar to how a recorded version of Hamilton was released to D+ in 2020.

So yes I still think that Coco opened in 2028, because if it was real synergy between Studios and the Parks this DL show wouldn't be opening until Aug 2027 when the Bluey movie is released.

Disneyland Resort has shared more details for “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!”:

Bluey and Bingo on Stage
Bluey and Bingo will appear on stage at set times throughout the day during two unique rotating shows, joining a troupe of comedic performers and musicians. Together, they will bring to life the popular games, beloved music, and dances with cheeky moves from the series for real life.

Extra laughs, playful surprises, and a little bit of delightful chaos are added when Bluey and Bingo are joined on stage by beloved characters from the show: Chattermax, Unicorse, and a troupe of Grannies. Get ready to be a Keepy Uppy expert when Bluey, Bingo, and the performers toss balloons into the audience.

You’ll also spot Bluey and Bingo in live musical show moments that seamlessly segue into iconic games. A surprise cavalcade with larger-than-life inflatables of Bluey’s friends – Jack, MacKenzie, Indy, Honey, and Rusty – will weave through the audience.

The high energy is underscored by new musical arrangements of iconic songs from Bluey, played live by a five-piece band on drums, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, and trombone.

Bluey Games and Photo Opportunities
At the upper and lower grounds of the theatre, you can find storytelling, games, and dance-alongs as part of a fun fair at Bluey’s school.

Step into the life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden, where you can join interactive adventures and group play. Children can experience some of Bluey’s favorite games by racingBarky Boats down an imaginary waterway or hopping on Bluey’s helicopter stump for a pretend ride to wherever your friends need you.

*** warning non factual opinion content follows ***

Bluey is I great addition. I really hope TWDC does NOT purchase this IP.

Because whatever IP TWDC purchases, it destroys.

Since nobody is going to agree with me, I remove that post I made and make a sabbatical leave of absence. And yes, I love Mickey and the Magical Map! Deal with it!

This show sounds like it will be a huge hit with families with young children.
The stage production also sounds like they are investing in some elements above the norm, along with audience participation activities which sound fun.
The inflatables, ball catch, etc.
Kids will love this, and parents will enjoy having fun with their kids during the show.
A bit more creativity than your typical production?
Sounds like a win…we shall soon see.

As much as I disagree in having ‘Bluey’ in Disneyland Park, I will admit I am interested in seeing how this live entertainment presents itself once the show opens.
Entertainment has always done a great job with staged shows, even with minimal budget.
Hoping this show is a real plus.
