I thought it was good. I think it sort of jumps the shark

but they lean so hard into it that it works. Tonally id say it didn’t feel like a Disney/ Pixar movie but we enjoyed it. I do think the human turning into an animal thing is getting played out but of course this one has its own spin.
I thought the animation was visually appealing. The 3D animation was nice and animals had a certain stylized texture that almost made them look like stuffed animals that came to life of just super 3D if you will (even though we saw it in 2D). It looked like you could feel them if that makes any sense. It’s late and I’m not sure I’m communicating this how I’d like.
