Other than a "robot" talks to animals, they are a completely different premise and story, so don't compare at all in my opinion. Both are good and charming in their own ways.

More of a comedy. Much more anthropomorphic. The gist being all critters are anthropomorphic in their own way, we just can’t tell; rather than the main character having to instill human behaviour or learning much about animal behaviour. Most of the “animal behaviour” the movie offers you’ve seen in the trailers.
Wild Robot is more artsy and sentimental. This movie goes unhinged. Both in their own good way.
I’d say this movie is more Pixar’s’ Secret life of pets than Wild Robot, tonally. Rather than a statement of quality, this is a much better movie than Secret Life of Pets. Or kinda reminiscent of how Fish act in Nemo.

Saw the movie yesterday, was a fun time at the movie theater. It gets really bonkers toward the end but a fun ride.

I thought it was good. I think it sort of jumps the shark 
but they lean so hard into it that it works. Tonally id say it didn’t feel like a Disney/ Pixar movie but we enjoyed it. I do think the human turning into an animal thing is getting played out but of course this one has its own spin.
I thought the animation was visually appealing. The 3D animation was nice and animals had a certain stylized texture that almost made them look like stuffed animals that came to life of just super 3D if you will (even though we saw it in 2D). It looked like you could feel them if that makes any sense. It’s late and I’m not sure I’m communicating this how I’d like.

They really liked it. My 10 year old son asked if we could see it in theatre's again. My 5 year old daughter was engaged. The trailers worked for them and they were anticipating this one for a while.

Haha no my 5 year old? She loves that stuff more than my 10 year old son. That’s child’s play to her. Her notes on Jurassic World Rebirth were that “not that many people got eaten.”

In some countries the movie is called "Jumpers", which I find amusing
