DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Just saw Hoppers, which was an incredible return to form for Pixar and the early box office returns seem to show that it’s gonna be a big hit. The movie’s message also would really fit into Animal Kingdom seamlessly.

Is it too soon to start dreaming up a North America/Pacific NW land themed around Hoppers? Could even add in a Brother Bear attraction, although that’s probably getting into wishful thinking territory
If nothing else, Hoppers would be a perfect follow up to Bugs Life in the Tree of Life

I thought that too after I saw an early screening. It would help flesh out a North American area. I’d bring back the Pocahontas show, add a Bambi flat, and a Brother Bear E ticket.

Evidently, early-2000s animation that grossed ~$80mil in the US is still game for E-ticket attractions.

Some do, and this is one of them.

It’s been out half a day.

I've seen Hoppers twice now and I concur. It needs to be somewhere in Animal Kingdom. I hope it makes a lot of money. It was a fantastic movie and one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Left the theater crying both times as well because of gut punch emotion handled perfectly.

It really is the perfect IP that could fit (imo), especially if they wanted to put a focus on North America / our wildlife.

The movie is about the intrinsic value of nature, has a clear personal call to action, and a psychological transformation through adventure.

You could easily build an original story attraction using the wonderful characters and animal world created in the film.

They're apparently building a coaster based on The Emperor's New Groove, which wasn't a huge hit either.

Disney also considered The Princess and the Frog a flop (It wasn't, it just didn't make as much money as they wanted it to), and lo and behold...

Something we could probably all agree on … replace Better Zoogether with Hoppers.
Or even a show that features the characters from A Bug's Life. Since the tree is so big, they can make it seem like we are the size of a bug and entering a theatre inside the tree. Then Flik could teach us about why we should respect insects and maybe even Hopper could show up and add some conflict. Maybe even write a fun new song for a finale in the show.

Wow sounds like a great match! The previews look great can't wait to see it.
