Is the end date on the 70th August 9th? I’m going to have fighting words if this parade is removed on the literal doorstep of D23.

I feel like they know this and would keep it around, since they're doing D23 Day again. I imagine it'll stay until the day before Halloweentime (August 20th). D23 Day is August 13.

With the new intro or the old intro? The half measure nostalgia farming won’t work on me anymore Disney. If you go all the way and bring back the old intro I might buy tickets so I can see it with my daughter for the first time. If it’s just going to remind me of all the weird crap you did in the early 2020’s I’ll stay home. And considering it’s the 250th anniversary of this country they need to bring back the old finale.

Haven't many of the floats been destroyed/repurposed at this point? At least that was the rumor I remember from a couple years ago the last time it ended. So if that is true, why go through all the expense to rebuild floats just to bring back a 54 year old parade? Especially when they have a perfectly good parade in PtN that they could add a few floats to if needed.

If it is coming back, which I have serious doubts, it won’t be part of the 250th anniversary stuff since PtN will be running during that time. So whatever this is is happening after the majority of major 250th celebration stuff has already debuted and PtN finishes its 2026 run in August.

If it were to come back in early to mid 2027 that would still be within a year of the anniversary. Disney celebrates their own anniversaries for more than a year so what’s the difference?

Yes, USA will be 250 till July 4th, 2027.....But, a celebration of MSEP's 55th sounds more likely.

I was gonna type this up in a separate post, but might as well type it in a response to this.

PtN ending in August makes sense, with Halloween starting shortly after it ends. So they will be running the Halloween parade in DCA, and DL doesn't run anything if I remember correctly.

Has Disney said the 250th celebration will be running past July 4th weekend? I'd assume that most people would be all 250th out by the time July 4th rolls around and passes, especially by August.

All announcements for it say it culminates on July 4th weekend, so I take that to mean that will be the finality of the celebration -

So they haven't explicitly said its running past July 4th weekend, again other than we assume that Soarin' Across America will be running for awhile after since it debuts that weekend.

So yes there is no "reason" why they couldn't (assuming that MSEP is even happening) but the question is are they having the celebration past July 4th weekend.

Hopefully they can figure out the backstage situation by small world and make more space to have day and night parades be part of daily operations again.
