I’m really excited about the refresh of this area, and I think it will actually do wonders for the park overall once it’s complete and a lot of the other stuff is done as well

I know there’s no point while the overhang below is being redone, but I so badly just want them to paint over the horrible lines on the facade protrusions.

Brought to life as an all-new Audio-Animatronics figure, Olaf welcomes you into a space inspired by one of his most memorable moments from Once Upon A Studio sitting at an animator’s desk, joyfully discovering the art of drawing.
Stepping into a reimagined animator’s studio with playful nods to Frozen, guests of all ages are invited to sit down and learn to draw. Young animators in the making can spark their creativity at sleigh‑themed tables, while animator‑desk–style workstations invite kids at heart to feel as though they’ve stepped right into the studio.
The happy snowman’s spirit of curiosity and encouragement is what inspired Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf, as he recorded original dialogue for the experience while also considering what it might spark in young artists.
“I’m so thrilled that a whole new generation of kids can dream of becoming animators one day and can actually begin their journey right there on the studio lot,” Gad shared, underscoring how Olaf Draws! turns imagination into possibility.

On the one hand I definitely wasn’t expecting an animatronic. On the other hand, it’s too bad it’s all prerecorded and there won’t be a live cast member.
Imagine if it had been a live cast member interacting with the Olaf animatronic, similar to the old show with Mushu in the animation building

Agreed on that, I get why "story-wise" There is no physical animator present but I do like the actual animator as part of the experience in AK.

What does Olaf have to do with animation in Florida…?
Last character I would have imagined taking this role.
He isn’t even a traditionally animated character…he’s a digitally animated character.
Hmm…
I would have thought the choice would have been to have a Florida Animation Studios creation host this segment.
Stitch, Mushu, shoot…even Koda would have been a better pic.
Or a real wild card throwback - Robin as a Lost Boy from the original Animation Tour film.
Yeah I know…no way in Hades they would choose him, but still.
Not sure why Olaf was chosen in relation to this presentation.
Don’t we have enough ‘Frozen’ rep in the Park already..?
I will say that I am sure the AA will look terrific, and the show may end up being a fun element.
But man, Mushu or Stitch would have been epic solely based on the history involved in both the field and the location.

Appreciate the Mushu figure on the bookshelf as a nod to the old Animation Show.
So, this is a mix of the old Animation Show with Mushu and the Animation Experience where you learn to draw a character. Makes me wonder about the size of the Alice play area and the meet and greets in the rest of the building (If it'll just be those three things in there or if anything else?)

Agreed, it's interesting that they are doing it like this considering you still need live CMs to make it work? Is it really that much more expensive for specifically an animator to do this?
