I'm convinced that everyone in America loves petting goats. It's a national pastime. Like baseball but cuter and less likely to take 3 hours without a result.Anyone staked out for last train ride yet? Or maybe last to pet a goat?
Except me, I avoid them after one was a little ... prick (forum terms), when I was a kid and knocked the wind out of me on a field trip. They all know.I'm convinced that everyone in America loves petting goats. It's a national pastime. Like baseball but cuter and less likely to take 3 hours without a result.

If they will allow a grown man like me to pet a quokka I will be first in line. Probably. Assuming that train doesn't mess up my back again. I'm only 29 I swear.I will definitely miss the goats and donkeys, although having Australian animals will be nice.

Darn! There goes my quokka time!I think they've said it would not be a touching experience like the goats/donkeys; more of a standard zoo where you can just see them.
I think the location has always doomed this attraction and I don’t think Bluey is going to change that.Just in case the grass and palm trees of doom are coming tonight-

I’m not sure they chose this area in an effort to drive traffic necessarily. They needed a space quickly and this fits the bill. It will be interesting to see the demand and whether or not the train can handle it if it’s high. You’ll likely never see a true attraction out there unless they change things significantly. Take a look at the satellite view and you’ll notice it’s remote and largely landlocked by all the animal facilities and other park operations. I imagine this was added originally to both create capacity and allow guests a view into animal care without it ruining the other theming. It’s a shame that is largely being sacrificed for a cartoon dog, but its days were likely numbered anyway with current day Disney and “underutilized” space.I think the location has always doomed this attraction and I don’t think Bluey is going to change that.
We’re “in the know” and have visited the area a few times, and really enjoyed it, but we’ve also had a few trips we missed the area simply because we forgot it existed.
I think a simple ride, or even an animal viewing path that leads to this area, would have a much bigger impact than adding IP.
Frankly I'm still surprised it wasn't killed off for Zootopia. It’s a shame that is largely being sacrificed for a cartoon dog, but its days were likely numbered anyway with current day Disney and “underutilized” space.
Objectively false. In terms of space dedicated, DinoRama was about 1/3rd of the total land. The rest of Dinoland USA was as elaborately themed as the rest of DAK. This video is a good walkthrough:
Bluey is seen as temporary, Zootopia is not. The area simply can’t support a full land in its current design.Frankly I'm still surprised it wasn't killed off for Zootopia.
