DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Throwing the word nostalgia around isn't actually a good argument. Sometimes people just disagree with you.
Exactly. Plus the Disney parks are supposed to create nostalgia - that’s by design. Disney works best when they lean into that - even with simple things like a 3 second cameo by Stacy.
The isolated location is not changing.
Well it will now be part of a “brand new land” and since they are tearing everything up they have the option to make the location feel much less isolated.

Shame all their rides suck for JP if you aren't into big coasters

Sorry, but as someone who just returned to IOA after 15 years, outside of the Discovery Center, I wasn't crazed about the JP area. Especially when you put it next to Berk or SNW or DU? Definitely doesn't feel as alive as it should be. Universal, this is your chance, just bulldoze Kong and make it a jeep ride and then add a bunch of AA dinosaurs across the land.
Truth. NUKE.

Every other version of that ride (all two of them) is more popular because they are in more popular parks. Parks that have more than 5 rides. There’s an obvious trend here. It’s not the IP.
Those parks have more attractions. Dinosaurs queue is always shorter then the two Pandora rides, most of the time shorter then the Safari, and often shorter then Everest. On a hot summer day it’s usually the shortest ride queue in the park, since Kali has a long line. DL Indy vies with Rise and Space Mtn for the longest queue in the whole park daily. I don’t know enough about DS to be specific there.

My childhood experience with Dinoland is seeing the carnotaurous picture is a kiddie guide and being afraid to be alone because I was sure it was going to show up at the time share. I formed all my opinions as an adult, not nearly long enough ago to be anything remotely resembling nostalgia.

I never said you had to agree with me, and also I don’t have to agree with you.

A park should have attractions that are easy to access without a significant wait. It’s good for guest satisfaction and provides operational slack if capacity elsewhere is hindered.

Right now I have two days free for sulking in Florida and I feel very very upset, and I really WANT to give Universal my money right now to be whisked away on another dinosaur adventure...but yeah. That was one of the great things about Dinosaur. No drops.

And nothing's gonna overcome Restaurant O'saurus, stuff like that's just never happening again.

Maybe AK would if another thrill ride could pull people out of other rides. Once those two rides open I strongly suspect the Pandora rides will have shorter waits. Navi might finally have an apporiate line (<30 min) and FOP might no longer consistently be the longest queue in the entire resort. If those rides pull 45-60 min waits once the initial hoopla is over the park will be better for it.

Yeah, that's all fine and dandy for that pesky GSAT stuff. But how does that address the #1 priority for TDO - improving bottom-line financial performance by generating LL revenue?

Two posters in the last pages said they are done with Animal Kingdom and thinks that Dinoland USA was the last integral part of Animal Kingdom.
It’s amazing how crowded Pandora gets seeing as so many here swore to never so much as step foot in that land.
People who have declared Epcot dead and buried still make it there more times than I can count.
Look for the opening day reviews for Tropical Americas from those swearing off Animal Kingdom now.

Seeing as how you and many others have repeatedly said the members of this forum don't matter to Disney in the grand scheme of things, how is that possible?
