I'm not going into Animal Kingdom ever again after this.

I would say Disney parks in general, but my sister would be sad if I said that. I'll make my best effort to avoid them and steer her away whenever possible.

Agreed. Another Dino ride - universe of energy was the same.

I remember going on CTX our first visit in 1999. It scared me to death. Not so much in later years when fewer and fewer effects were working as designed. It's a great attraction. (Yes, I am excited for Indy. Both views can co-exist.)

I think that I was the only one in my immediate family that liked Dinosaur. I had wanted to get on it one last time this weekend, but had other obligations come up and couldn’t make it to AK.

Disney knock Indiana Jones out of the park. Make Encanto a good dark ride, add Lion King flume ride or dark ride and add a nighttime show and you got arguably best park in Orlando…. At least from themed environment perspective.

Agreed - although this is less horrifying than ripping out Rivers of America.

I grew up loving Dinosaurs as a kid and Walt Disney World was a place that brought them to life. While it took me a while to not be scared of Dinosaur/Countdown to Extinction I loved Universe of Energy for as long as I can remember. Some of you know the story of how I was on the very last ride that broke down and got to walk around the Primeval World. For DinoLand, I didn’t make the trip. I’ve long let my annual pass expire and I couldn’t bring myself to reward Disney with my time and money for a last ride after everything that has been done.

The only Dinosaur that now remains at the resort is the skeleton on Big Thunder Mountain. The rest are officially gone and extinct. The ones that once upon a time had me believe in “Disney Magic.”

The opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s apathy. I just don’t care enough anymore. My brother is trying to get me to go on a trip because there’s some deal on 4 day tickets but honestly all I want to do in Orlando is go back to Epic Universe since I haven’t been there since the Grand Opening.
