EPCOT 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

We were at the first Food and Wine. My parents loved it, walking around a fairly empty World showcase in the early fall evenings and chatting at leisure with the knowledgeable CMs about the food and best wine pairings.

There was a sommelier in Italy!

Back on topic- I’ll be at the F of Arts this year (trade show in Orlando) and at least the festival booths will have tastier food than those terrible Orlando convention center salads!
Was there this past Sunday. A little chilly , went into the land about 1230 when it started to rain and get super windy. Cameback out an hr later all good. Have to say what was a nice surprise was England no longer serving lunch had opened the bar area up as all the seating now is first come first serve. Plus they had a piano player in there. That was nice.

They had some nice art this year. In the tents they had a few beautiful Christmas paintings and a couple were on wood! Above my pay grade as some were from $500-$2000!! I have to go back as Sundays weather got in the way and the friends were with got cold. I’ll be back!!
Btw it was $190 for a one day Epcot ticket for our friends. I got them the 2 day ticket where they can come back till April for $200. Wow.

Hope some of you visiting WDW over the last few days have been over at Epcot visiting with Disney LEGEND Tony Baxter.

Tomorrow, the 25th, is his final day appearing at this years Arts Fest.
Meet him at the World Showcase Bridge Kiosk from 11 am to 2, and then again from 3:30 to 5:30.

He has been talking openly with fans about certain topics…such as his original suggestion for what became ‘Tiana’s Bayou Misadventure’ and more welcome insights.

I suggest y’all get over there tomorrow and show the man some love.
And buy some of his beautiful artwork!

Epcot was full for AP reservations today so I had no chance but I got to see Tony IN Epcot which is already very cool.

Hoping to luck out tomorrow with a virtual q.

The prints are all sold out but the $150 canvas’s are lovely. I probably would have bought both prints so I’ll end up spending the same with 1 canvas and it will be ready to hang with no framing!

Thanks for the good luck - set my alarm at the Wyndham, walked over to Saratoga and went right to the lineup to make a reservation.

I bought the steps of St. Paul on Canvas - Mary Poppins is by far my favorite Disney movie and feed the birds is extra special so I couldn’t resist.

Tony is just the nicest guy ever - I got to tell him I finally saw Disneyland Paris and how much I appreciated all of the details and how everything is framed in the parks.

This is the Disney that I am in love with!

Fantastic…I am so happy that you were able to spend some time with
him!

That watercolor painting he did many years ago of the Bird Woman has great personal significance to Tony.
‘Mary Poppins’ is also his favorite film, and he is a major fan.
So you are in good company.

Enjoy that special little piece!
Very much a part of who he became, and who he is today.

🙂

Dining Package tip during hard freeze. Don't get one.

Trust me when I tell you: The Disney on Broadway dining package is NOT needed during this hard freeze. If you want to brave the cold and go to the Broadway Concert, I'm telling you now, there will be plenty of seating. Too dam* cold! 🥶 🥶 🥶 I experienced a similar hard freeze during MLK weekend several years ago and did the dining package. I wasted money. Just get a regular dining reservation and pop in on the concert if you want.
