That’s all that’s really known to be there still.

Hey thanks. I wonder if there was ever concept art for the moon scene and it'd be so cool to see the peppers ghost figures as they are now. I adore this ride and was so excited to see the space station cylinder.

Saw this on Reddit, from an evacuation today (1/21). The first two pics are at the top of the descent and can see the curtains in place to "hide" things.

None of those pics are of the 94 finale sets currently hidden by curtains sadly, they’re a few rooms further down. At the top you can see what remains of their original lunar surface scene idea, and then the last photo would have shown this thread’s namesake space station if all those light strips weren’t in the way.

The light strips are really the only interesting thing in the current descent. Not that I would be against replacing them for a better idea.

I mean, what it they went whole-hog on bringing back the original idea of the 180 top...but with better technology and more spcial effects... It could be the wow moment the current incarnation needs... Of course it needs much more...but the original storyline could be told again with completely revialized sets and all effects plussed and operable...
