Trip Report Tu in ‘25 *COMPLETED*

Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before
Ever just as sure
As the sun will rise
Tu in ‘25

These lyrics came to mind when I thought about my trip reporting. (I also thought, Here we go AGAIN but the above sounds much more poignant.) It’s now that time of year when my Disney trips are frequent. And this Disney Senior loves sharing her visits with y’all because your engagement makes it fun!

Yes, there will be stuff that’s the same. Yes, there will be surprises (too soon for the reveals). And yes, there will be sun rises!

Spring break countdown is at 4 days.

Since this intro needs a picture, here are Tu.

I checked the app for dining possibilities but honestly I wasn’t feeling much like leaving the resort. Perhaps if I had gotten a nap I would have had more energy. Then I considered how happy I’d been overlooking the lobby this morning during breakfast and decided why not do it again for dinner?
That's too bad that you were feeling ill; but I think looking at the magnificent view of the WL massive lobby all decorated (and that huge Christmas Tree -- wow!) must have helped you feel a bit better.

I'm so sorry that you felt sick on this trip Tuvalu. 😪 I'm glad you got to enjoy the lounge offerings your last night plus the beautifully decorated WL lobby. 🥰

Epilogue

When I awoke on departure day I was very thankful to be going home. I was also thankful that Woody was not sick and could do all the driving, as I napped off and on during the journey. I did go to urgent care and was prescribed antibiotics and steroids, which I am sure helped some, but my symptoms lingered through the entire holiday season. It was rough.

I will have fond memories of Woody’s birthday trip. My mind tends to filter out the bad stuff and remember the good, a benefit of being an optimist.

I appreciate each one of you for following me through another year of Disney - east and west coast! It was fun to share my trips and as always I enjoyed engaging with you in your comments.

2026 brings the opportunity to stay at two resorts new to me, which leaves Old Key West and Ft. Wilderness campground as the only Disney resorts where I have not stayed.

OKW has a better chance in the future than FW. My fridge magnet explains why.

Looking forward to your next TR! Have a great time at Saratoga Springs. You have to go to the Turf Club! We love the food and ambiance there! I have no input on Art of Animation as it is on our bucket list!

Hmmm.... I wonder what the next trip report title of 2026 will be????
hmmm GIF

I would suggest staying away from the seven dwarfs. There seems to be some plagiarism going on there already🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for all the great trip reporting! I’ll be arriving at Pop Century in 29 days, so maybe I’ll have a Tuvalu sighting!

I am always so thrilled when I log into this site and see a Tuvalu TR started!!! Your adventures are so fun and interesting, and your photos truly make the reader feel like they are there with you! I'm sorry that you were feeling under the weather on this trip, but you certainly didn't let it stop you from doing a lot. Knowing that you have other trips planned always helps when things don't go as planned. Hope you're feeling all better and will look forward to your next TR! 🩷
thank you so much GIF

THANK YOU as always for sharing your insights, your adventures and your humor! I appreciate all the work you put into your reports (I can barely remember what we did, where we were and what we ate like three days later...). I'm still waiting on that drink... maybe in 2026?! We will be down in late April and again in late September. I know you don't visit in September... so maybe we can grab a drink and listen to Air Supply at the F&G Festival (our FIRST time!)?! Perhaps @Figment Forever and the gang can join us?!

I hope you enjoy Saratoga Springs as well. We really appreciate the low key and laid-back atmosphere. It's a BIG resort, but it's very walkable (or just hop on a bus and hop off at your destination!) and the hike to Disney Springs is great! SO MANY food options there, of course. We like staying in The Grandstand - it's the first stop to get off the bus at the end of the day and for that same reason, we eventually always get a seat in the mornings! Plus it's a short walk to the Carriage House and the Disney Springs boat launch from there. You and Woody can get your Golf on, too!!

Have a Magical Trip-filled 2026!
