The value of knowledge is being constantly undermined and the educated, mocked.Youth and young adults don’t thirst for knowledge.
So they drink the sand.

…umm…you’re years away from that scenarioIf anyone tries to give me a hard time at my job about going to Disney I’m just going to get all excited about it and tell them the specifics of how fun it is. Slightly unrelated but I also tell customers to have a magical day when they leave.
Yes. I despise any "influencer" or "digital creator".Does the internet agree it’s ok to universally hate beauty influencers because they should be studying and donating their money to charity instead of going to Sephora? No, because they are considered “cooler”. This isn’t about moral concerns, it’s about social status.
I suppose you’re right but with an exception for the Backstreet Boys. And the internet - social media thing, the "Disney Adults" being mocked aren't just random folks who love Disney. They put themselves out there for audiences to judge, good or bad. Nobody is walking into random ppls homes or businesses and "bullying" them for being Disney fanatics.
Besides Disney, baseball is another big fandom of mine. If I were to selfie record myself walking into a stadium and start sobbing with joy when seeing Shohei Ohtani doing batting practice, then upload said video onto social media for the world to view, (similar to the "Seeing Cinderella Castle For The First Time" viral videos)... I would EXPECT judgement and mockery for my behavior.
If you put yourself on stage, the world reacts.
Did you go to the sphere to see them?I suppose you’re right but with an exception for the Backstreet Boys.
I wish!Did you go to the sphere to see them?
Cancel your next Disney trip and go there instead.I wish!

Looking back at it, it's not as meanspirited as it sounds, or direct "attacks" toward her.

The way I see it, if you're in public, especially a busy place such as a WDW resort lobby, being seen or photographed shouldn't come off as a big surprise. It can easily happen.
It throws a lil shade at a minimum…but it’s kinda a weird chatboard thing anyway…like the vloggersLooking back at it, it's not as meanspirited as it sounds, or direct "attacks" toward her.
In a nutshell, apparently someone in that group was either napping or resting in one of the resort lobbies. He wound up photographed and showcased in one of her TR's in a not so flattering fashion. His daughter (a member here??) saw the photo. It sparked a big debate in that group over whether or not people should be ridiculed in other people's TR's who aren't "throwing themselves out there on the big stage", yet public is public, so... ?
It was awhile ago, and that's when the "Tu Invested" and "You'll Get Paparazzi'd Tu (too)" puns started flying around.
Not directly attacking anyone on a personal level it seems.

In a world where we are moving towards it being socially unacceptable to bully people for differences, why is openly mocking DAs for basically just being naive and nerdy still totally fair game?
