I know not likely but I'm curious if there will be ride changes down the road. SR is in a good place timeline wise but RotR would be a little weird when Han and Luke are running around. Maybe they don't care. They probably do not.
The fact that they put it in the sequel timeline especially considering the Sequels had not even finished yet was one of the dumbest marketing moves in Disney history.

They get credit now for listening to the fans, but they got into that ess by listening to the fans too. They thought people wanted a hyper-realistic role playing stage where a land was designed to be in a specific time and place. They thought people wanted something akin to the original Frontierland, where it set in a specific time and place in history and the place making supports that time setting.

In the end: none of that was ever really true in Walt's time and it wasn't true now either. Woody and the Country Bears belong as much into Frontierland as Luke and Leia do in Galaxy's Edge. People just don't think these creative decisions at the level that creatives do.

Maybe that's an important lesson for WDI and maybe even some of the fans as well.
It really depends on what fans they listen to.

It is ironic considering he is the person who's responsible for rushing the Sequel trilogy in order to make back money. The fact is the Sequel Trilogy didn't have a cohesive storyline. No one wanted the new characters because J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson was trying to undermine each other and it hurt character development for the Sequel trilogy Characters including Finn.
Finn was the only really original idea they had.

Wasn’t it Iger who told Imagineering to focus on the new trilogy because he thought people would show up and wonder where the new characters were? He might’ve wrote about this in his book or something
Kathleen convinced him that kids would be asking for the new characters, when in reality I have yet to meet a single human ever who has liked anything Disney Star Wars outside of Andor (and maybe Rogue One/Mando).

Kathleen Kennedy legitimate lost Disney billions in opportunity cost. Bob Iger let her do it too.

They could have easily paid for a new people mover with the money they could have made if the movies were actually well written and focused on quality.
