Thanks for starting the thread. Looking forward to this season to keep myself entertained until the Winter Olympics begin in February.

It's Traitors premiere night! They're releasing three episodes tonight. I'll for sure watch one, likely two. The third will probably have to wait for the weekend, though. Stupid work in the morning. So I probably won't be posting here until then. However, I'm so excited to see Rob play!

I assume Rob was cast in part due to his following through RHAP and in appreciation for his coverage that promotes the show.

When he got a fairly high profile and positive edit at the start, I kind of figured they were giving him a moment prior to an early exit. They even kept in quotes about him being the Survivor expert despite two actual winners also being there.

On the bright side, with the UK and USA filming back to back I do like how they tweak things a little so we can compare different approaches.

The UK has the same Secret Traitor element this season, but the difference is they know who the other Traitors are. It's a small change but creates different dynamics.

I finished the third episode this morning. Obviously I'm devastated Rob was murdered early, but it was the right move for the Traitors.

I'm a little bummed about some of the choices for the traitors. Two housewives? I get why they didn't choose a gamer, because they've been heavy in that area and want to break the expectation, but then it also puts the gamers at a disadvantage in the game. There's nobody there to vouch for them in the turret, so they're easy to pick off.

I'm torn on the secret traitor twist. They obviously picked Donna for the shock factor, but I think that role needs to be someone who is good with strategy. Donna was a little too bland for it. Rob, Ian, or Tiffany would have been good in that role.

I do think murdering Ian and Rob made sense with the short list Lisa, Candiace, and Rob R were given. However, I do wonder if they would have been easy banishments a little later on, just because of who they are. But then they are also two people who could figure it out more than the "nobodies". It's a double edged sword, because they're going to start running out of plausible alternatives.

I do think Rob R is playing a really good traitor game. Candiace is not. She's being really loud. Right now those three are doing a good job of sticking together, which we haven't always seen. There are a few other options before they would even be thought about... Michael, Ron, Tiffany, Yam Yam. Natalie seems like a firm faithful. She's probably who I'm rooting for the most now.

Speaking a little more on Rob... he was definitely cast because of RHAP. I loved seeing him for the little bit we did. When we said, "So ******* hard" I got so excited. If you didn't catch it, when he found out he was murdered, he choked up for half a second, and that got me. This clearly meant so much to him. Probably more to him than anybody else.

He seems to be very grateful for the experience and has no regrets. Since he was out so early, he will continue to podcast about this season as he has in past seasons. It'll be really interesting to hear his perspective now.

It's a slim chance, but I do think he could be someone they bring back, similar to Dorinda. He's clearly got a lot to offer and great potential, but he just went out too early. But would they do that instead of casting a new Survivor? I wouldn't think so.
