Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

the above pics? Yes. as for the walking animatronic video you shared below, no, unless they use it for King Thanos in the final showdown.
I’ll have to carefully watch the video again (to find the exact timestamp), but there was a scene with a rocket raccoon animatronic sliding into another room though a hole. Of course i could be wrong and the face wasn’t finished, so maybe it’s just a generic raccoon. But it didn’t look like Judy hopps or any other animal characters. And rides like cosmic rewind and mission breakout don’t have sliding animatronics.

Anyways just saying that if it actually is for infinity defense, that’ll be really cool

31:18. I agree. If that happened right in front of guests that would be pretty astonishing.

I wonder how they would make this effect repeat every 20 seconds or whatever. Would the raccoon-bot scamper off-stage and then another one drop down...and there would be a dozen or so that take turns in a loop? And how would the raccoon-bots get back up to the launch level...would they walk up a backstage spiral ramp themselves or would a Kuka arm with padded grippers grab them from off-stage and lift them back to the top? I have so many questions that have nothing to do with what guests see!

Wow that went up fast! There were no cinder blocks there on my last visit before blockouts like ten days ago!

But I REALLY hope there will be some passageway between Cars Land and Campus that's not a bathroom! Probably around the side closer to the new attractions?

That long straight wall is the new angled path into AC. (Red arrow).

Purple circle and “removal” of construction wall gives a sense of where bathroom doors will be.

Here’s another look from above, I’ve highlighted what I think looks to be the new path, it will dump you right into the new area by the two new rides (unless they have removed all those trees and then it’s more of a straight shot?)

ETA:

Over the wall shots from Freshbaked app. Can see a more straight path into AC:

Curious why we would think the walkway into Avenger's Campus is changing that much. The FreshBaked view seems to show that the thematic/industrial concrete walls are still there to the right, under the trees. Could it be that the restrooms are here, with no other changes:

If capacity is an issue at DCA they have very poor management since they have cut the Hyperion Theatre, Pixar orchestra, parade, and other live entertainment that entertained guests.
Imagine DCA with a show at the Hyperion, these new rides. and a properly ran Animation Building. So tired of having Animation Academy guests queue in the lobby because they don't want to have guests exit to the right as designed.

What’s happened to entertainment at Disneyland resort in general is a true travesty.
And yet, completely predictable. :(

Workers unionize. Demand more money. Disney cuts entire shows so nobody earns any money at all. Guests still buy tickets to the parks.

Rinse and repeat.

As repeatedly discussed, shows cost money; they don't make money. Even when I bought the Rogers: The Musical shirt and popcorn bucket. :( Think I still have an Aladdin at the Hyperion pin somewhere. Think I traded the Frozen at the Hyperion one. Though I do still have every piece of Mad T Party merch I could get my hands on at the time. Show fans are sadly niche and can't support shows the way Di$ney demands $upport to keep something going.

The Bluey experiment at the Fantasyland Theatre looks unimpressive but then I'm not the target audience. Guessing it will be similar to the Disney Jr "shows" and Tomorrowland character dance parties with a host giving shout outs to characters and introductions and movement activities for little ones before a meet and greet, but maybe they'll surprise with something more... yeah.

I do still hope we get a stunt show back on Campus after the new attraction construction is done but I'm not holding my breath. I got a survey recently from Disney about DCA entertainment and to note what I wanted to see vs. what I actually saw. The sad part was, everything I wanted to see didn't run while I was there, so Disney will no doubt take that as "ticket sold anyway; no entertainment required." :(

So for now, I will take the character assemble moments they've been doing for a few months They're small but fun. And that may be the only "entertainment" on Campus going forward. :(

I was just going off that aerial, but I edited and added those over the walls that show the more straight path is still there.
