It’s quite sad that the expectation for any new park pretty much anywhere is an iteration of Islands of Adventure.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Abu Dhabi is more Islands of Adventure than Disneyland. If we’re lucky, a castle park.

Agree, IMO the biggest take away from IOA, is the same for EPCOT and DisneySea. Ppl like big open theme parks built around big bodies of water. The industry's main takeaway from the success of WWoHP being "build more IP lands" was unfortunate

Ive never agreed more with a a sentence then "Layout isn’t the trend the industry is copying from IOA. It’s unified IP lands."That’s actually what I most dislike about IOA.
Layout isn’t the trend the industry is copying from IOA. It’s unified IP lands. IOA’s layout is the worst. DisneySea is a giant grid.
If I had to predict a rough layout, it would be DAW/Epcot.
Completely agree, what excites me if you haveI think it’s almost a certainty it’s getting a second gate either announced this year for its 10th anniversary.
It’s time Disney makes a park in New Jersey reclaiming land in the ocean taking advantage of Philly/NYC population, Texas, and to drop one in Argentina/Brazil.Completely agree, what excites me if you have
1. confirmed Abu Dhabi Disneyland
2. Rumored Second gate for Shanghai
3. rumors about a Disney park in Thailand
4. rumors/speculation about 3rd gates for Anaheim and Paris
^and wether all of those happen or not. that fact that there's a possibility about multiple parks in development is something we haven't seen in 20 some years and is incredibly exciting. What will these park's theme be. What lands will be unique vs shared RandD cost. What will the scale be. Etc. Are just incredibly exciting to me
personally I think it's nut's there's only one disney resort in Europe. It’s time Disney makes a park in New Jersey reclaiming land in the ocean taking advantage of Philly/NYC population, Texas, and to drop one in Argentina/Brazil.
If Europa Park can succeed, there’s no reason why Disney Parks couldn’t.
There is no third park rumor in DLP. They just have until 2036 to decide if they want to build something on the land allocated for a potentially third gate. It could be a water park, hotels, a mall, housing, whatever just something !Completely agree, what excites me if you have

It’s 240 hours. You can already go to Shanghai Visa free for 144-hours from the US.
Do you have evidence it can be "something" as I have never heard this before? There is no third park rumor in DLP. If they don’t, then the land will return to French government.
Agree, and I also to clarify didn't mean their we're rumors about disney currently working on it, but rather meant that wether it be a second gate for Shanghai, or a third for Paris and or Anaheim, these are all things imaginnerring at the very least is keeping in mind rnDo you have evidence it can be "something" as I have never heard this before?
Natasha has referenced the third park recently. And there are works starting to provide the third park portion of the resort with a new substation as well as increased road capacity. I'm not saying the park will be open before 2040. But opening a new Disney park is a very slow burn.
