The key to large groups is to provide flexibility and minimal required events. When I’m with a huge group, we will usually have 1 TS reservation that is “required” outside of that there are guidelines (this is MK morning and DHS evening) and a group chat to coordinate. Not everyone has to do everything together.

We have a group of 10 and have had great success with advance planning with the flexibility to drop out or change plans as required.

We do a lot of TS because it helps to have a schedule and my family enjoys TS restaurants. Also, planning rides in advance ensures that everyone will have the opportunity to do what they want - again, with the understanding that plans may have to be altered if circumstances change. Or some may need to drop out.

We’ve made more than 60 trips to WDW spanning 40 years with ever-changing group sizes and have never had an issue with lack of flexibility even though we have dining and ride reservations.

I’m sure what works so well for us would be disastrous for some other group. People have different preferences, priorities, personalities and circumstances.
