One show with only three showtimes, within a fairly tight window in the evening. If you had made a dinner reservation or really any other plans for your MK evening, it might be more than “not that hard” to adjust your plans.

But really, the point is, WDW knew this show was happening. They didn’t just schedule the performers that morning. So not posting showtimes until day of is one of two things: 1) choosing to withhold info, perhaps to create the illusion that it’s a party exclusive show (which makes no sense, the parties have been sold out for a long while anyway) or 2) gross ineptitude.

In years past they’ve intentionally waited until the last MVMCP to finish before acknowledging daytime ops for the holiday parade, castle show, and fireworks. This isn’t really anything new. More unusual that the fireworks and parade were added in advance than that the castle show was added day-of.

I thought about making the trip down just for them! So great to see these little touches of Magic return - now let’s get the lights of winter and peace on earth tag back!

Is this the first year for the live music at studios? I remember back in the day enjoying Mulch on the main stage and comedy warehouse back in the old theatre by the streets of America. Was a fun way to ring in the new year for sure.

Is DHS planning a “real” fireworks show this year?
