One show with only three showtimes, within a fairly tight window in the evening. If you had made a dinner reservation or really any other plans for your MK evening, it might be more than “not that hard” to adjust your plans.

But really, the point is, WDW knew this show was happening. They didn’t just schedule the performers that morning. So not posting showtimes until day of is one of two things: 1) choosing to withhold info, perhaps to create the illusion that it’s a party exclusive show (which makes no sense, the parties have been sold out for a long while anyway) or 2) gross ineptitude.

In years past they’ve intentionally waited until the last MVMCP to finish before acknowledging daytime ops for the holiday parade, castle show, and fireworks. This isn’t really anything new. More unusual that the fireworks and parade were added in advance than that the castle show was added day-of.

Is this the first year for the live music at studios? I remember back in the day enjoying Mulch on the main stage and comedy warehouse back in the old theatre by the streets of America. Was a fun way to ring in the new year for sure.

Always Glad to see more live music in the parks.

Is DHS planning a “real” fireworks show this year?

Heavy at magic kingdom…wait times have been about 20+ minutes over the actual in our experience today

No lightning lane…

Leaving probably in an hour or so. More people on the paths than I’ve seen recently…but still plenty of dining popping up as usual.

Here’s the pirate thingie…I’m with a larger party

I mean if I were Disney I'd be doing a victory lap for 3-4 days of around normal crowds for the busiest time of year...

Call me old-fashioned but I've never considered the parks as mobbed unless they were at some form of capacity closing and to my knowledge they have not restricted park hopping or limited guest access at this point yet.

I’d say they’re “exaggerated”…but not to the point it’s whacky
like 30 minutes for space mountains and
25 for jungle cruise and 20-30 for haunted mansion and pirates overall…under the posted

We survived…went to Crystal palace early and beak and barrel (which was actually really cute) just now.

Guess my time isn’t “more valuable”?

But I have $449x4 more than the premiere pass fools 🤪
