First Trip to Disney Paris- Which Hotel

We are staying for two nights starting September 30, 2026 at the end of a longer trip. We don't want to spend a fortune but don't want to be too inconvenienced either. Are the Davy Crocket cabins too much out of the way? Is there another recommendation you would make?

It depends if you will have a car or not. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive and then of course the walk from the parking lot.

If you are not fussed about staying in a Disney hotel there are many good options in Val d’Europe. Some have shuttle service, some are on a city bus route. There is also the option to take the train, as it is the next stop over from DLP.

I will say that if you look at any of the good neighbor hotels to go directly to the hotel website as often the rates are much lower.

For 2 nights I suggest you take advantage of being onsite if you possibly can.
I had friends recently return from their first visit and loved the Hotel Cheyenne. Santa Fe is the other “value” option.
By booking a package you’ll get 3-day tickets included, without the need to reserve a park. And because of the park opening times, the early entry is so much easier than rope dropping at WDW! (Just check which rides start running early).

I agree with Cheyenne and Santa Fe is you want a budget option and s[ending most of your time in the parks, as they're both a 15-20 minute walk to the parks, and have bus shuttles too if you need it. You get the added perk of getting in earlier and Cheyenne I recommend the most for the theming. Sequoia Lodge will be in the middle of its room refurbishment in Sep 206, so you might get an old room or be impacted by construction in the lobby, and Newport Bay has current issue of the walking path being closed whilst the repave, but that should hopefully be back open by Sep

I thought the path (by Earl, not Mcdonalds) reopened last month?

I’ll second the above. Check out Cheyenne. Better of the values, early entry and tickets included. Despite the renovations, also price up Sequoia. It’s often not that much more.

I might have missed it reopening. I would say that between Newport and Sequoia , they are both similar distance but Newport tends to be more pricey whenever I've looked.
Added bonus for Cheyenne is that if you're getting Magical Shuttle to the airport, it's the 2nd pickup so less likely for it to be full when it arrives. Have seen Santa Fe only manage to pick up half the people waiting for it when we pulled in and the other half had to wait for a backup coach

I don’t think the back up Magical Shuttles are that bad. We’ve had it twice and it’s a five minute wait. The supervisor is notified before the coach gets full and another one is dispatched from the local depot down Av. Paul Seremy.
