Thank you so much for doing this! I probably don't have to tell you but it means a lot to people who receive them.
I totally get it. My Christmas presents growing up were things like new socks and underwear, shampoo, batteries, and scotch tape. Mom always made sure we had one "big" gift....one year I got a nightshirt that I had desperately wanted and mom couldn't afford. But the lady who sold these was super nice and let her buy it for half price so she could get it for me for Christmas. I bought my own clothes from the time I was 13 because mom couldn't really afford new stuff, and while most of my clothes were 2nd hand from friends who had older daughters, I was made fun of a lot, so I bought myself more in-style things sometimes. And we shopped thrift stores for everything, so I've been there. It's tough when you're a kid and you don't understand why all your friends are getting skateboards and boomboxes and you are getting socks.

We bought a dolls pram(stroller?) for our granddaughter for Christmas as Santa is bringing a baby doll so I knit a little pillow and blanket for the pram with mostly left over wool I had.

I'm currently knitting a little sleep suit for the doll with left over wool, mainly because I can't not have some sort of knitting on the go!! I doubt I'll finish it in time which is fine 🤷‍♀️

The cookies on the bottom left look just like cookies that I bake called turtle cookies. Is that what these are called? I use pecans for the turtles "feet" and drizzle chocolate icing over the maple flavored cookie.
Yes. Maple flavored Turtles. Ma's recipe, she has been making them for over 55 years. The others are cream cheese wreaths.
