MK All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

Let’s see. Replace the entire soundtrack and or at least add lyrics. Fix the Blue Fairy to look more elegant like the Dreamlights version or quite honestly even the concept art which did look more in line with the Dreamlights Blue Fairy. Get rid of Pinocchio and Geppetto inside of her so it doesn’t look like she ate them . I’m sorry that’s exactly what it looks like and I’m curious if anyone else has thought the same. Replace Wish… Add the other Frozen characters either on another float or walking, add smaller floats especially to the finale and lastly more performers.

Honestly - just have Geppetto and Pinocchio walk behind her, and then cover the box in star dust, maybe add an opening sign for the parade… like the old drum float.

It could only have been worse if the parade floats consisted entirely of F150s covered in string lights bought from Target... I will passionately argue, with evidence, that even Light Magic was better. And Light Magic was so bad it almost caused a handful of executives to get canned...

I’m not sure what you mean… all of the concerns listed are legit issues. But that doesn’t mean the parade is bad.

I’ve seen really bad maintenance issues at Animal Kingdom Lodge that needed to be addressed but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad resort.

I dont think the entire soundtrack needs replaced its actually great, its not Spectro and wasn't designed to be, that was spot on perfection which we will never see the likes of again...now adding lyrics, yes, that would have gone a long way, my guess was that was cut to save costs on recording..........I completely agree about Pinocchio in the back, its sheer idiocy. When I saw them they were practically in pitch darkness you could barely see them.

I think what has possibly been heard loud and clear is maybe the lack of characters and interaction with guests, its barren and next to none in terms of on foot. I wouldn't be surprised to see that may be where budget goes to..........agree about Wish, no one knows who that is up there, this would be an easy fix physically (zootopia, pooh, etc) but musically probably not so much. The final title float is simply odd,,,there should have been a grand entrance title float.....but the parade has great bones and structure and now a unique original to the Magic Kingdom, it just needs some zipadeedoo.

Comparing a resort to a parade is an interesting analogy. I see constant critiques of this parade which was already cut from its original and seems like cut again from what was suppose to be given to us. So i dk i asked a simple question based on comments i see here and online and from plenty of people who have seen it in person that i know… i have yet to come across anyone who has truly loved it (who has had a fair opinion of it) and said it was the best parade in comparison to others…

Ah - sorry I maybe misunderstood what you were asking. I have seen it multiple times in person.

The tricky thing is the parade isn’t “bad” - it has issues. If that makes sense?

The biggest issue that is hard to forgive is the lack of characters and dancers on the ground.

Thankfully, that issue is rather easy to resolve, should they choose. The hardest step was getting us a parade to begin with.
