Sinbad is also one of my favorite dark rides anywhere. It's just a shame it's always a walk-on even on the busiest days. I imagine OLC will eventually add an Aladdin ride at some point in the future, but I hope it's not at the expense of Sinbad.

I expect it has one of if not the hightest operational throughputs in the park which doesn't help make the ride look popular. I'm surprised they didn't add 40th Anniversary Pass to it to induce demand. I'm not normally a fan of these tactics but I thnik it would help more people choose to ride it. The queue line is even already set up as two lines.

Ages ago (forgot the exact year but not too long after the fixes they made to Sinbad in 2007), they experimented with this method by having the Fastpass machines for the most popular rides frequently drop a free bonus Fastpass for Sinbad. If I remember correctly, this was short-lived and did not artificially increase demand by a noticeable amount.

I do wonder if it would be different with the digital 40th Anniversary Pass. The choices in DisneySea are really poor for the pass and I think it would be worth a go. However what do I now. I am sure less than the management of TDS!

It's my favorite Disney attraction in the world, I would be heartbroken to see it go. Surely with all the attention that area of the park has been getting with Fantasy Springs, it must be seeing better numbers.

I'm also hoping that the next phase of development being focused on Port Discovery, this is safe for the foreseeable future. But the merch and profile pic things are pretty scary.

We’re going for our third trip at the end of May. I will be quite displeased if Sindbad isn’t still on the list. Frozen is already closed when we’re going. Can’t imagine they’d have two big ones down.
