Trip Report Bibbidi Bobbidi Bump

Okay y'all... I have been putting off starting this TR because I know it is going to be a good while before we return to WDW and it just makes me feel SO SAD. But.. Hoping that reliving this awesome babymoon trip will cheer me up.

So, here we go!

When: May 3-7, 2025
Where: Pop Century
Who: me (Annie) and my husband (Ian)
Why: our babymoon for our second baby girl due in September!

My 3-year-old, Nora, stayed home with my parents and our dog Gus and was pretty jealous lol. We definitely got some comments from folks about us going without her... but I truly have NO idea when we will get a trip just us two again, so I knew this was what I wanted!

Another warning if you didn't read my updates on my last TR about this one.. I am a pregnant lady who rides rides. I basically skipped out on Tron, Space Mountain, and a few others that made me a little worried. And guess what? Me and baby are a-okay.

Anyway... let's do this!!

60 days out from my solo trip with Nora!!!

Which means ADR booking was bright and early this morning. It's a short trip but we are packing in the fun, especially with free dining for kids!

Here is what I booked:

Chef Mickey dinner
Sci Fi dinner
Akershus Princess Dining breakfast
Tusker House breakfast

Nora is LOVING princesses and characters right now, so I think she is going to be so happy about this lineup. She doesn't know yet about the trip (Christmas present!!)

4 more sleeps!!!

Of course I woke up today feeling like I got hit by a bus with brutal chest congestion. Hoping I feel better by Monday. Also, another snowstorm is headed our way on Sunday so really hoping it’s cleared up bright and early the next day.

I’ve done a few emergency shopping trips this week in preparation for the cold WDW weather. Yes, we are Mainers and it was -10 degrees today, but I know that 40 degrees in Florida feels COLD.

Nora has been loving her countdown chain!

We also did pretty well with our LL selections earlier this week. Nora’s number one request was Tiana’s and we got it!

I have started to get super anxious about leaving Ella (my almost 5 month old) for the first time. Dad totally can handle it but I’m a little emotional about it

Now for more Disney related news…

I knew that having Ella would be tough on Nora. She has had every ounce of our love and attention for almost 4 years and she’s our tiny little best friend. It has been a transition, but she really loves her baby sister.

As I’ve mentioned, we won’t be doing a family trip in 2026 which is a bummer. SO I decided something special for Nora would be a mommy and me trip!!

We are officially going February 2-6. Dad and Ella will have some solo time together at home that week (and dad gets a golf trip in January with his friends don’t worry about him lol).

Nora’s birthday is NYE, so the trip will be a birthday present! I just know she is going to be so so excited and I am too. We are staying at Pop.
