Seems like the frame is being installed for the show building. (Photo: thisismrb)

An updated pic of Pixar theater. Also does anyone have any idea what they’re doing to Center street? Lockers and the waffle stand have been moved to City Hall and Fantasyland respectively. (Photos from Twitter/X)

I thought I was seeing things for a second. Very confused.

By the way, if anyone wants to know where the screenshots are from, HK releases a list of approved buildings:
If only it was easy to get the floor plan for these buildings. We already know layout for the Lion King ride in Paris and Spiderman coaster in Shanghai, but don’t know anything for Pixar and Marvel tower in HK.
I found that they filed the plan for the Marvel building to the authority in Oct24.

It seems like we will get a slightly smaller version of the tower with 10 storeys plus 1 basement level (there are 13 floors in the original version). Hope that there will be surprise in ride system, show scenes or technology.

By the way, did anyone thinks that they could add more show scenes in Frozen Ever After, as I think there are lots of spaces between each show scene, and they could add more decorations in the show scenes on the second floor.

I don’t see them adding show scenes to FEA because they already had budget allocated for it and they didn’t use it. HK had almost a year clearance on Tokyo for claim to “first frozen land” and still has like 2 billion HKD floating around

If they had intention to make FEA better than it is then there would be no reason why they wouldn’t have done it on launch

We still don’t know a lot about this project. The space and the show building are very large, it would be strange to have this much space and give it to just a single stage show

Based on where it is going it’s really not that much of a departure from the space the story book theater occupies.

I’m sure there will be a forecourt (with additional queuing structures) - because there currently isn’t much of an entry to that space - and maybe like some bathrooms and a snack stand.

I’ll also stand in stark contrast to the narrative here that I think a seated stage show is every bit as valuable as any other D-ticket. I think entertainment is highly disregarded and looked down on by broader sentiment of this forum.

I don’t think shows should be looked down on, Hong Kong’s shows are fantastic and high tier attractions in their own right

My only concern is that there is already plenty of them for the size of the park and there is so many expansion pads in the park

Hong Kong still does have a deficit of e and d tickets compared to the other magic kingdoms while it doesn’t have a deficit of shows

Don’t worry so much about theoretical remaining space! I’d be surprised if a Disney park ever ran out of space in my lifetime, that would be a great thing.

It’s investment that is the rate limiter-always.
