That's pretty much their MO with the day parades, though. Asking them to not hyper-focus on new or hot properties is essentially asking for them to not develop a new parade at all. There should be some balance, of course, but there's only going to be so much real estate granted to anything that isn't a mega-hit. Heck, some movies that didn't quite meet box office expectations still got pretty impressive-and timely-parades back in the nineties. This is just the way it's been for ages.If they bring Magic Happens back I hope it's with a few directional changes that prioritize other Disney movies and not stuff released within 3 years with everything else shoved in the back.
And this is true for every Disney park worldwide, to be honest. People sometimes point to, say, Tokyo for using characters that would never be seen in the US parks, and while that's true, the Tokyo parks are nonetheless still doing what the other parks do-putting the characters who they know will sell to their audience front and center; it just may not seem like it because different markets want different things.
