I spent all day riding Dinosaur over and over in the hopes it would break down with me on it, then I leave after seven hours, immediately after this happens and the ride breaks.

Also, WeatherBug was giving me alerts that lightning had struck .1 mile away while I was in Restaurant O'saurus (though I think it thought I was in the parking lot).

I’m don’t post very much anymore, I can’t go like I used to. (Health) My niece and great niece are there for MNSSHP, with the monorail down worried. They are at Shades of Green I know.

I did not note the monorail being down earlier at Poly unless something changed; however, they CANNOT get to a monorail station from SOG anymore unfortunately. They will need to use a bus.

I was just at Epcot and every single ride except for Gran Fiesta Tour was down. That made everyone go to World Showcase and every single festival booth line was insane. Like, more insane than usual for a friday night lol

I saw the lights at Connections flicker on and off for about 2 seconds when I passed by just as lightning struck. When I left the park there were massive lines to enter the park. I assumed those were guests that left MK due to the party.

Thanks. I just so worry for first trip, day one and everything going down.
Like I said in an earlier comment, this is HIGHLY unusual. Usually, if a storm knocks out rides, it's a longer storm and mostly rides in MK (POTC is particularly finicky). This was a normal FL afternoon t-storm, but obviously lightning struck just in the right spot to knock out a bunch of rides.

Or generate the needed 1.21 gigiwats of electricity needed for the flux capacitor to operate.

We were at Disney Springs, in Fortuna Cucina, and power went out but back up power kicked in right away, and then what seemed like regular power back in about 5 minutes

The SoG bus drops off and picks up at the TTC every 20 minutes until an hour after the last MK/Epcot closes. So no worries, they can ferry or Disney bus over if the monorail is down.

We were at The Boathouse in Disney Springs. The lights went out for about a second and the music stopped. The music returned after about 5 minutes or so. When we finished eating the background music at Disney Springs was off but it came back on within about 10 minutes.

I thought maybe that was the case, but yes, Ferry will be running, so non-issue.

When I was at Poly, monorail appeared to be operational. This was after the lights flickered. I also did not see buses running for MK and Epcot. However, something absolutely could have changed or one line could be down and not others.

All the rides seem to be running at half capacity.

We went from ToT that was only running one side. To RnRC that was running only two trains and no ride photos. Now we are backed up in the lightning lane queue at TSM. I wouldn't be surprised when we get down to the platform if they are running half ride vehicles here too.

Are they still running on limited electric?
