Also is it just me or is the back to back Jaws / Flash Flood the pinnacle of the Studio Tour? I'd love for more outdoor attractions like that to be added to the tour. Also the park needs a King Kong AA again. It's just not right without it.

One of my other favorite moments of the studio tour was the part with the Jurassic Park stuff in between all the trees and the Dino's spitting at you at the end. They skipped it on my last trip. hoping it wasn't ax'd.

I'd kind of wish they would use the old Prop Plaza again that is to right and above you where the dinos are spitting at you. That was the tour rest spot with giant phones, cars in front of moving scenery, fake boulders and the six million dollar man van lift. I miss all of those silly picture ops.

This looks really nice. I don’t recall this at all. My earliest memories at USH are probably around 88/89. Would this still have been around then?

This was 70's to mid 80's. The Tram was about two-three hours so this was the bathroom break and lunch area.

When you entered the park, you were assigned a fast pass time for the tram. You were to watch the wild west stunt show and animal actors shows while waiting. Then the tram would take you down behind Transformers for the special effects show. It lasted about 30 minutes. You got back on the tram for the collapsing bridge and some New York sets. They would dump you in Prop Plaza for lunch or break. You got back on the tram for Jaws and Psycho house area. Then you where set free for more upper lot shows.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. So does this break area actually still exist as pictured more or less?

They have to keep updating things, lest they become "old and stupid".

(Let me know if you need a link to that video.)

The DreamWorks theater for HHN is getting the anime Chainsaw Man from USJ. It will be subtitled like the Fan Fest movie was. This is a guy with a chainsaw arms and head that kills zombies and demons.

Finally going back to Universal Halloween Horror Nights this year after a 17 year hiatus. Looking forward to a lot of the mazes and hope it’s an an awesome experience. Does Hollywood number there Horror Nights like Orlando does? I know Horror Nights began here in Hollywood but has had three hiatuses in its lifetime so that might have a lot to do with it. If we were to add them all up, this would be Horror Nights 25 but I don’t think they do it that way here and how fitting is it taking place in 2025.

Hollywood names their HHN after the year. So since it's 2025 we get HHN25. Orlando names theirs after how long the event has been running. HHN34

I am curious what are the opinions and the reactions going to be regarding their Terrifier Maze. This maze will feature a "wet" route with water acting as blood being sprayed on guest. I wouldn't mind maybe droplets here and there for effect but to get soaked as the designers described it at Midsummer might be another level. I usually don't get a poncho because I like to get the full effect of a ride but I might change my mind here. Not sure I want to walk around at night after getting soaked.

Everything at Universal Studios shoots water at you at some point in the ride. Why not the mazes too? The Killer Klowns maze had squirt guns and squirt flowers. You ended up pretty wet by the end.

At Water World they are throwing buckets of water at the audience.
