Is the Spirit of Aloha dinner show coming back?

No
I did the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. I've also visited Hawaii a good bit. I really felt like Spirit of Aloha was super fake and a bit insulting to Hawaiian culture. If you're aiming to educate on Hawaiian culture, that's one thing, but it came off as patronizing. Only thing I enjoyed was the fire dancers.

I take less issue with luaus on Hawaii in part because the income allows Hawaiians to both share their culture (if they wish) and remain on Hawaii. But Hawaiians should also have a fair amount of input.

There's a reason for this line in Lilo and Stitch...

And I know, some people are gonna be like "but we can't go to actual Hawaii." Doesn't matter.

Unfortunately no. Shows are expensive. Disney has learned they can just do a buffet and cart around a couple of characters and charge the same price. I even wonder if Hoop is on borrowed time.
HDD is massively popular and the number of tables they fill in multiple shows along with the type of food served and rate paid to the CM performers probably makes Dis a nice profit. Ive rarely seen many empty tables at the shows we've been to. As long as it brings in the paying people it's got life.

You are correct, but the question becomes, could they occupy as many tables in a day charging the same price and just having character meets. With Reflections moving in, are they going to be looking for a place that is open for lunch and dinner? Maybe a character meal since Mickey's BBQ is gone? I don't know. But I do know Disney likes cutting cost and increasing profits. Just wouldn't surprise me if they killed it is all I'm saying.

Couldn't the same have been said about Spirit of Aloha?
