MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I was a child in the 70s when TSI first opened...I spent many hours over there exploring over the years... It was absolutely magical... Less so on my last visit thenre in June to say goodbye... But is was always an amazing place... Now thewre is nothing to "discover" and if there is you will need to pre-plan your lightning lane fast pass to "discover" it with ten thousand other people...
The closest thing to TSI I can think of that remains in the Magic Kingdom is the Swiss Family Treehouse....but it's only one path to "choose," and if you dare linger, you'll annoy anyone standing right behind you. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful that it's still there (and I don't see it going away unless they also ax Jungle Cruise ... like they're allegedly planning with both in Tokyo), but the Magic Kingdom is for the first time in its history devoid of attractions where anyone of any age can stay and linger for as little or long as they'd like. As mentioned throughout this thread and elsewhere for the last 50+ years, all such attractions were welcome respites from both the crowds and from the attractions where you're either carried through like a cog on an assembly line or ushered in and out of like cattle (I'm not complaining; I understood why their formats must be in those ways ... I just lament that there's no real offset at the Magic Kingdom anymore). And I know the hub expansion was, in-part, done for people to have some place to decompress somewhat, but it's still out in the sun ... as crowds are going by you every which way.

At Disneyland Paris they have Adventure Isle in Adventureland... A similar idea to TSI with exploration paths and caves. It is very nicely done...Imagine finding yourself inside Skull rock overlooking a full size pirate ship moored nearby. It is a nice plus for kids...and was designed in such a way that id does not require a raft ride to visit... Now if they could take the Speedway footprint and create a new, larger Peter Pan's flight complete with an outdoor Lagoon and Pirate ship like Disneyland Had in the old days, that would be amazing... As long as the new PPF is not the Fantasy Springs version full of screens....

I haven’t seen too much of a drastic difference. The old show would have people clapping along as well.

Since I BEARly remember Vacation Hoedown and the Christmas show - it doesn’t seem odd to me for the bears to sing other songs. The bears never = the classic show until Disney got lazy and stopped rotating the shows.
No singing though, and I only noticed clapping at very specific parts during the OG show (like the beginning song)

Disney does not care about nostaliga, memories and discovery any more. Their new slogan should be "Out with the non-profit generating thematic areas, in with the IP-fest LL ca$$$$$$$h!"
