DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

It’s becoming increasingly clear to me that after not building much for years during the pandemic and the Hollywood studios redo not including everything it should have that they gave in the complaints about nothing happening at the parks and now they are trying to do almost too much at once when the ideal big announcements for the 2024 expo should have been 1. Disney Starlight. 2. Tropical Americas with additional up ride. 3. Drone show for animal kingdom. 4. Jungle Book overlay of kali river rapids. 5. Zootopia show. And then the 2026 to 2028 announcements should been focused on stitch Moana inside out and villains.

They needed to announce the volume that they did. Probably just the choice of projects and especially where they landed was not what everyone really wanted.

The monster coaster was something 90% of the membership was begging for, over a decade though. And I acknowledge there are a few consistent voices who never were. But we got what the membership asked for on this one. Ironically, the Disneyland side is jealous of it, despite clearly having the superior investment package in terms of accessible dark rides that would be absolutely transformative for DHS if the shoes were reversed.

I think the imagined possibility is always better than reality.

I hate to say it but the spilled paint and giant Kermit mural were pretty ugly. They just didnt know what to do with the Muppet studio design and it shows. The show was perfection but everything else (aesthetics of the courtyard were meh at best).
Yeah I think as a themed environment Monstropolis will be a huge upgrade for the park

Hopefully the 2 attractions are worthwhile
