News MK Ferry boat crash last night, multiple injuries

Not sure if it's been spotted elsewhere yet (if so feel free to close/merge/etc) but apparently last night one of the MK ferrys crashed whilst coming in to the TTC, throwing guests forwards with some reportedly being injured, ambulances attended and some were apparently taken off on stretchers.

I can't find any other sources so perhaps take some of the claims with appropriate caution, but there are multiple people confirming they were on the boat in there.

Hoping this didn’t cause too much damage, and that people were not too seriously injured.

Sounds like the ferry overshot and hit the jetty due to the bad weather conditions at the time.
The forces at play at such a sudden unexpected stop threw multiple Guests forward.

This has happened in the past, and it not a fun experience for those involved.
Hope the Captain and the CMs involved are okay.
Things like this can affect you in unpleasant ways.

"The site that shall not be named" sites a call out for mutual aid on PulsePoint at 12:02 am for the TTC ferryboat landing. The call closed at 2:06 am.

The ferry in question, The General Joe Potter, is currently in dry dock and not operating.

It is probably safe to assume that something happened at this point.

Oddly enough - the more serious Evac’s I’ve been a part of got me nothing.

On the flip side… I once got loaded into a shows pre-show after capacity was hit and the CM was beyond apologetic and gave me multiple FP’s.

My mother occasionally talks to a group of MK ferry pilots at her community pool... I may have to ask her to see if they have heard about this.

I only say that because there's no videos of the crash or aftermath, and no news coverage in any of the local news outlets (beyond that previously mentioned site and 1 less reputable site summarizing that article and the Reddit thread). I've checked them all, even News 13. Nothing from any of the local outlets - and they'd 100% be reporting on such an accident if it happened!
