Note, this indirectly involves Disney as Sinclair owns some of the broadcast stations that are Disney/ABC affiliates.

Buying out linear TV stations in the age of cord cutting maybe wasn't the best financial decision. Especially since they have a particular political point of view they wanted the news divisions of those station to follow -- all the while that same political space was already dominated by other companies.
