Tbh we cannot just assume it's just a drop-tower ride. I mean, although the concept art does show a drop-tower looking thing, it feels kinda boring if Disney just carbon copy a TOT with a different layout... But again, if this is really just a TOT ride, then it kinda makes sense for HK to recieve it, given that the other Avengers Campuses have TOTs right beside them. Honestly, they should use a ride system similar to Battle at the Ministry. It's basically the WEB SLINGERS ride vehicle on steroids. It can simulate drops too.. just sayin.

It will be interesting to see how a separately capitalized offshoot (with actual capital inflow) starts to operate and invest.

The one thing they cannot do is launch another gate without major capital injection. But a steady stream of investment could be achievable.

If Spider-Man if going to be Frozenesque, there is a real possibility that the theater will be gone and the train berm will be turned into a bridge to create a large entryway. Maybe add a Tomorrowland train station?

I do hope that we get more info in a month’s time at Destination D23.

They 100% need to give it another entrance from the main part of Tomorrowland

Just using that tiny corner next to Ironman would be a guest flow nightmare and really make it hard to see your premiere new attraction

A courtyard hosting a e ticket should not be in a thin dead end hallway

Exactly. They have to 100% remove that stage that sits between Hyperspace and the expo shop.

i know I being this topic up a lot but I do really wonder what’s next. The park really seems to be entering a positive feedback loop where more building attracts more people which leads to more money leading to more attractions but they are running out of space

After these two are done then east of grizzly is the only expansion pad left and it remains to be seen if they have enough money to fund a full expansion since Pixar entertainment is still an unknown and the spider man TOT is still using money from the 2016 expansion plans that built frozen and the castle.

They also can’t afford to rest long, Shanghai is drowning in cash to expand any which way they want and the chimelong brand is expanding heavily all over guandong

I think there are already signs that point to what they plan to do next. There are 2 attractions right now that are closed that don’t seem to be under refurbishment: Tarzan’s Treehouse and Orbitron. Both of them had already gone through refurbishment last year and are closed again for “operational adjustments”. Orbitron being down could signal an update coming to the entirety of Tomorrowland. Meanwhile, the plot next to Grizzly is the most logical expansion left like you pointed out. Since HKDL once planned to build a Splash Mountain or Pirates flume ride, maybe they could build the state of the art Moana flume ride that was Blueskyed for WDW Animal Kingdom. Public patents revealed that the flumes for a conceptual Moana ride could rotate around its axis, similar to the movements of Shanghai Pirates. Moana could be a possibility since Tahitian Terrace is currently closed undergoing a refurbishment. It is thought it would be rethemed to Moana since they placed Moana style signage on construction walls so it would make sense to also have a Moana ride to go along with the restaurant.

With Spider-man coming, could a Marvel retheme of Orbitron, Comet Cafe, and Space Mountain (I would rather Fantastic 4 than Hyperspace in HK) be far behind?

There has always been plans for 7 hotels. The three we have, one in the empty slot and 3 south of the second gate, it’s in all the old renders of HK as a full resort with 2 gates and a downtown Disney

That's what I'm thinking too. I mean, Orbitron is "under maintenance" for a while now. Besides, it could use a good renovation with a retheme too, but MARVEL as the theme? I'm not sure about that. I don't think they would retheme Hyper space mountain. It resonates well with HK ppl. I would prefer an original theme, perhaps a better version of "Space Mountain".

Also, any chance HKDL will keep the "Tomorrowland Takeover" thingy after Stark Expo is fully completed? And, I heard that this expansion could potentially and officially separate Tomorrowland and Stark Expo. This would make it an entire land, with multiple attractions and restaurants.

Found a video of a takeoff that overlooked HKDL and took some screenshots of the construction plots. Both plots have had their grounds cleared in preparation for construction. The Pixar plot seems to be further along with yellow construction fencing built along the backstage access roads and possibly a few pieces of heavy construction equipment (very hard to tell from so far but looks like 2 excavators).
