Yeah, I didn't want to dip into too much negativity, but that Frozen float is a huge miss for me. I think it even boarders on the verge of eyesore.

And I thought Anna would surely be on the float somewhere or even on the ground walking/dancing. How can they have a Frozen float without Anna!?

I'd settle for Anna and Kristoff walking along the float, ideally with some trolls, but even that feels like an insult to her character. She's just as (if not more) important to the story than Elsa.

That story was completely lost on me - and whatever story there is, could also work with blue fairy as the finale.

I just think starting with something more impressive would be a good idea. Although Peter Pan with flying could work too.

I'm sorry but the Wish float was a miss. It didn't garner any reactions and didn’t resonate with most people like with the other films represented in this. It's like you just glance at it once and focus more on the Encanto float after it. I have a feeling it won't last that long and will be replaced eventually (it's just a small filler float anyways)

Moana as usual gets the most cheers.

That sounds great... but if Disney hadn't used that line in the marketing since day one, would the parade portray that message? I haven't seen it live, but she seems to just fly by rather quickly with not much fanfare.

Without getting too negative right away…. Cause this is still a nice parade but….

Is this the first parade created with budgets in mind? Magic Happens was pre-Covid and felt 100%.

That’s the thing about stories…. They can be rewritten! (Deep cut quote!)

Pirates has a completely backwards story in Paris and it works great.

It's good, but feels a bit stagnant..? The music doesn't seem to match the parade's feeling, similar to what you got with the last parade or Paint the Night in California. It feels very out of order with the order of the floats.

Well, now I just miss SpectroMagic even more... so much more emotion and kinetic energy and grandeur. SpectroMagic was loads of fun and full of beauty and great music. This just feels like it checks a box next to "night-time parade".

Hopefully more is planned for Starlight, but I'm not optimistic.

Well, of course I have only seen the video here. It's okay. This is coming from a guy who thinks MSEP is the reason for parades in our universe.

Hopefully, it will grow on me. The most important thing is we again HAVE a nighttime parade It has been far too long since we did. I would have preferred that long Waltz Spectromagic to the nothing we've had for far too long.
As to this version, Blue Fairy opening in nice. Admittedly, I have not seen Encato Or Moanna, so those floats are kind of lost on me. And I agree the Frozen float is missing something (Hello, Anna?) But I am fairly pleased with the final float and music, just wish there was more Main Street Electrical in the overall parade. But I am relieved that the presence of the Blue Fairy was Not the only MSEP promise in this one.

Awesome parade and so glad one is back at MK.

Two foxes that would go a long way after only watching several different videos:

1. First zone needs to be plaza up to just past the emporium. Then a second zone starts for the remainder of MSUSA. Would cut some downtime

2. After the intro, return to the main theme with brass and transition to blue fairy background about 10 steps before she reaches any point. Too much of BF music and lower volume stuff between the two.

That these is awesome - let’s hear more of it!
