I will be handing out chains and padlocks if anyone wants to chain themselves to the rovers with me!Heads up for those going for the last day of DINOSAUR: I will be in full hockey gear, I will be bulldozing people, and I will be giving out free deodorant, body spray, and disposable toothbrushes.
I don't. What is the correlation?Of course you don't.![]()
I'm chaining myself to the Styracosaurus AA. Either it comes home with me, or I don't move.I will be handing out chains and padlocks if anyone wants to chain themselves to the rovers with me!![]()
I don't think deodorant will help in those temps.Heads up for those going for the last day of DINOSAUR: I will be in full hockey gear, I will be bulldozing people, and I will be giving out free deodorant, body spray, and disposable toothbrushes.
2027 always felt like a stretch when they said Dinosaur isn't closing til early 2026.Like BlogMickey.com said 2027 is starting to feel like a stretch. Encanto show building needs to go vertical soon.
The strangest thing to me is that the Tropical Americas plans have been ready for a while. The land clearing feels like it's taking forever. I haven't been to DAK since March 16, and I've missed nothing construction wise.Like BlogMickey.com said 2027 is starting to feel like a stretch. Encanto show building needs to go vertical soon.
Maybe they'll cancel closing Dinosaur!2027 always felt like a stretch when they said Dinosaur isn't closing til early 2026.
I haven’t chimed in this thread in a while so just reminding everyone here that Dinosaur is definitely not closing. You heard it here first! (And second and third)Maybe they'll cancel closing Dinosaur!![]()
Does this mean you won’t chime in again with this nonsense for awhile?I haven’t chimed in this thread in a while so just reminding everyone here that Dinosaur is definitely not closing. You heard it here first! (And second and third)
Nothing is guaranteed, but I’ll try to at least once more before 2027.Does this mean you won’t chime in again with this nonsense for awhile?
Yeah I'm surprised they haven't taken down the entire wooden retaining wall in back yet since that is the biggest obstacle they have to do now for the Encanto showbuilding at least. Though I'm guessing we'll see the showbuilding start to go vertical by the end of this year if I had to guess, I don't doubt Tropical Americas gets delayed into 2028, but I think that if it's still targeting a 2027 opening date, then it'll probably be in the later part of 2027.Like BlogMickey.com said 2027 is starting to feel like a stretch. Maybe I am naive, but the land was basically a flat parking lot previously. What would be the big challenge in preparing it for a new attraction? Sure it takes time, but everything closed in January. 5 months later, there is still nothing visible, just flattened dirt. Seems like 2027 would be a big stretch at this point.
Have we ever gotten confirmation on what exactly the Encanto ride is even going to be? A C ticket omnimover type thing? A boat ride? Something entirely new? Sorry if I missed it being mentioned before, but don't recall anything being really confirmed.

As I mentioned in a previous post, there is a wooden retaining wall in the back that held back some dirt and trees that has to be demolished (looks like they slowly are) and there is still utility work to be done as well, so I guess that's why it hasn't gone vertical yet, that and the fact Disney has always been slow on constructionMaybe I am naive, but the land was basically a flat parking lot previously.
