Back when I was running Manor of Mysteries I had the idea for making the game a spiritual successor to 1986 where players would’ve created a single park land by land set in Australia. That brings about the question:

Now that Disney has parks in California, Florida, Japan, France, China, Hong Kong, and soon to be UAE (maybe) where should the next Disney resort be built?
Closer to me!

Orlando. Just build WDW2. Zero differences just a second one. Like how Soarin' has multiple theaters to increase capactiy

I've been kicking around an idea for a castle park in Australia for a while. Here are some of the concepts that I have come up with for that:

A covered Main Street based on Ballarat, Victoria with standard shops and restaurants with some Australian-influenced shops and restaurants added.

A Frontierland equivalent based on the Outback with a mine train ride based on the 1851 gold rush in Australia, a log flume based on the Indigenous Australian Dreamtime stories with scenes done in the traditional dot painting style, a shop selling traditional, authentic Indigenous Australian art and culturally significant objects, and no river, the reason for which will be made clear in the next section.

An Adventureland divided into the following sections: Oceania (Transitions into Outback Frontierland), Latin America, and Southeast Asia, all of which are located along The Waters Of Adventure, this park's equivalent to the Rivers Of America. Oceania has a Moana ride and various villages representing Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, New Zealand, Easter Island, Tonga, and Vanuatu. Latin America has a walkthrough based on Inca ruins, an Amazon Rainforest rapids ride, Pirates Of The Caribbean housed in a Spanish fort similar to WDW's, an open-air market, a Haunted Mansion inspired by Dia De Los Muertos and Aztec mythology surrounding the spirit world of Mictlan, and this park's Tom Sawyer Island equivalent, La Isla Secreta, which is home to ancient Maya temples based on the ones at Palenque in Chiapas and filled with glyphs to be deciphered. Southeast Asia is home to a boat ride through Khmer ruins similar to the Jungle Cruise, a Thai floating market, a Balinese shadow puppet show, and a Vietnamese junk ship that takes guests down the Waters Of Adventure similar to the Riverboat starting in an area inspired by Ha Long Bay.

A Discoveryland similar to Paris, but with an updated version of 20000 Leagues from Magic Kingdom and it’s a small world with some Around The World In 80 Days theming in the queue.

A Fantasyland that is half-standard medieval theming and half-Greco-Roman mythology themed. The medieval half will have the castle, a Snow White ride, a Frozen ride, a carousel, a Sleeping Beauty ride, a Cinderella ride, and a Night On Bald Mountain ride. The Greco-Roman half will have a Hercules ride and a ride based on The Odyssey.

With all of that said, I’m hoping that the next park is somewhere in the Australia/Oceania area.

Canada has always been my go to pick. I don’t like, live there so I couldn’t exactly tell you why though

Rome or Greece! I will personally fund my broke bank account to force Disney in making a Beastly Kingdom x Fantasia x Mythology theme park!
I need to make it out to Japan one day for multiple reasons, but one of the big reasons is to ride the other iteration of X2’s ride system that is apparently even more unhinged. Think it’s called Eginika.
Went to Japan last year with family before becoming a Coaster Studios fan and having binged all the parks in their japan portion of the series I am seriously considering going back to hit all the major stops ;)

My favorite coaster is Flight Deck at CGA. Used to have Top Gun theme and still holds up today

What upcoming theme park project are you most excited for?
Nothing has been formally announced yet, but I'm really anticipating what Universal Florida ends up doing with Springfield. That park absolutely needs some love, and you're looking at a pretty massive chunk of land especially if you also fold World Expo and Fear Factor into the expansion footprint (RIP Men in Black, sadly :( ) Just PLEASE no more Potter. If it ends up becoming a Potter expansion I'm going to freaking scream. Pokemon all the way, baby!

I know the rumor is currently Zelda going into Epic because of some Super Nintendo World Easter eggs, but The Lost Continent just makes too much sense for that IP. You wouldn't even really need to do that much with the surrounding land and building exteriors. Mythos and Poseidon's Fury both SCREAM "Zelda Dungeon" in their current form. So that's definitely a close second. Just give the original park something major first. It sucks that the last really significant expansion was Diagon Alley, and even that has a pretty damn underwhelming E Ticket anchoring it in my opinion.

Blog Mickey just uploaded a post about how the construction walls bear a far more detailed version of the Monstropolis concept art. Here's the picture, in case anyone's interested.
