Today went really well. The bouncy houses were good. They did it differently this year and only had one grade level at a time and lessened the amount of stations, which was great. I went on the slide a couple times and through some obstacle courses. I beat my students in both obstacle courses. A parent volunteer was there and pointed out at the end of one, that I just had to win, didn't I? To which I replied, "Yes, I'm competitive." Another parent volunteer at the other one said, "You don't go easy on them, do you?" And I told him that is correct. I will give it 110%.
The water games are always my favorite part of the year... they're a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. The kids love them, too. They make for some great photos in "real time", with kids smiling and laughing and just having fun.
