Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Today went really well. The bouncy houses were good. They did it differently this year and only had one grade level at a time and lessened the amount of stations, which was great. I went on the slide a couple times and through some obstacle courses. I beat my students in both obstacle courses. A parent volunteer was there and pointed out at the end of one, that I just had to win, didn't I? To which I replied, "Yes, I'm competitive." Another parent volunteer at the other one said, "You don't go easy on them, do you?" And I told him that is correct. I will give it 110%.

The water games are always my favorite part of the year... they're a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. The kids love them, too. They make for some great photos in "real time", with kids smiling and laughing and just having fun.

0 days left with students! I've never been happier to end a year. After school, I went out for ice cream with friends and then went to get some drinks at a local restaurant. Now I'm at home and will be heading to a small gathering with family to celebrate my mom's retirement. She's retiring from her teaching job this year.

I don't know if just being my age, the loss of someone that entertained you so successfully when in early adulthood of 24 years old. I saw the movie, MASH and read the book while I was in Vietnam and the TV version started the same year that I got married. It was one of the only "war" depictions that I could comfortably watch and at times relate too.

We aged together but thanks to reruns, which I still watch while having my dinner they have never aged, she has never aged and when I saw her age just now, it struck me. I saw it and said, well she lived a long life and then the second thought I had was she was only 10 years older than me and I foolishly felt that it was natural to go at that age. I have lived here in NC for 14 years and those 14 years went by like a flash of lightening imagine how that feels. Not only did we lose a person that made us laugh and cry at appropriate moments but for me we lost someone strongly in my age group. Not a fun thing to think about.

Anyway, may she rest in peace and currently be in that mess tent with Colonel Potter, Frank Burnes, Father Mulcahy, Colonel Blake, Major Winchester, Trapper John and so many others that made the show so much fun to watch and are no longer with us.

Just in case you wanted to watch episodes of MASH, METV shows it weeknights from 6 - 8 PM. (I just looked up the schedule for North Carolina, and it's the same schedule up North.)

Been watching it on MeTV for quite a while now. Last night I tuned in to witness the scene were Col. Blake is leaving and lays a 30 second kiss on her as he is departs. That, sadly, is the episode where they also kill off Col. Blake as he heads home. I'm not highly emotional normally but couple it with the loss of "Hot Lips" made me decide that I didn't want to see the ending. But, I will still be watching it in the future. Thanks for your effort!

I stream that on Pluto TV and have seen all the reruns probably around 20 times, but I still find it interesting and comical. All of them are gone now with Robert Clary, passing near the end of 2022. I was just a lad of 74 when he passed at age 96 that 22 year gap made quite the difference.

It's funny about those sitcoms, no pun intended, but the two that I watched when they first aired I still find interesting but the one that I never watched when it was first on was Friends. That one I watched a lot, in reruns, but then I stopped being interested in them and stopped watching the reruns.

I. Hate. Friends.

I also do not love Lucy.
