I think Dark Universe will do just fine within EU and I don’t think in any way has any correlation to how Villains Land will perform in MK. Remember the Disney Villains are very well known characters themselves as well.
The big factor with this and the Cars area will be execution. If TDO can hopefully not cut back on scope and scale then I’d be cautiously optimistic that both the new areas will be well done

Yeah Epic’s lack of indoor rides is already becoming quite an issue and why I think Luigi’s Mansion has been revived and potentially seems to be on the fast track.
Even though it’s clearly not as big of an issue it just occurred to me that the overall MK expansion could have a similar problem. The Cars stuff is all outdoors and the one thing everyone seems confident about with Villains is that there will be an outdoor coster so if the 2nd VL attraction ends up also being Outdoors then it will be billions of dollars on stuff that is useless when it rains.

The second Villains attraction will not be outdoors

I think a lot of it is the in-person experience...camera can only catch so much... Not sure how it could be boring though...it is a non-stop race through the catacombs on a kuka arm based platform, constantly moving in multi directions with all of they eye candy, fully dimensional settings, AA and screen integration... I have not ridden it yet, so I could be completely wrong and it is a snoozefest, but it sure doesn't look that way to me... i am a lot less interested in the spinning coaster that has so many nets it must be like riding through a colander...It is a shame they cannot find a way to remove all these barriers.... The land looks beautifully done and well detailed...Maybe needs another ride as I am sure they already know and are planning....
The expansion's plot is huge over there. Rumors are about the possible aquatic attraction of the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Was it even one? All I remember being back there was a small stage at the very back...and Little Mermaid meet and greet. 20K Leagues had closed years before....and the transformation of the Snow White ride to a Meet and Greet I didn't think was part of that project...
