True. Giving it to the CM’s is more generous then monetizing it I’ll give you that for sure.

Does anyone know of any non official events for this finale? I know I missed out on the farewell to illuminations event that I would have gladly paid for had I known about it before it started lol.
There's this that the company I work for is hosting: https://agloriousfinale.com/

Not sure how many tickets are left (site currently says 4 for the panels and 1 for the full access ticket but they've been adding more sometimes); we had to move it to a large venue because it was too many people to fit at the studio. I've designed some stuff for this like a button-up shirt, which will be exciting to see, but even more exciting is that Imagineers who worked on MV3D will be there to do interview panels and show off concept art. People from TJHC were invited too but I don't know who from there will be there. There's supposedly one invited guest that is so big that it'd be amazing if they showed up, my guess is Steve Whitmire, but no word on who it is and if they're coming. I'm just a graphics guy, I'm not involved with the planning lol. It's $75 to come and see all the interview panels, and then there's other ticket options if you'd rather stream it at home for $15 or if you want to do autographs and such. All the proceeds from the event are used to get all the special guests here and accommodate them, and any extra is given to Give Kids the World.

They could hold the show in their back pocket for a long time and save it for when they need a "quick fix" bit of park news. It'd fit right into the nostalgia pandering for park fans that they've been into lately

muppets is popular enough to have a coaster but not a 3d show?
This. If Disney didn’t think the Muppets were popular they wouldn’t have given them an E Ticket or use them frequently in nighttime shows and events. MuppetVision should stay, Monsters could’ve gone elsewhere, but by no means are the Muppets not popular.

So I went to see Mickey's Philarmagic in DCA today and noticed something very familiar about the theater. This doesn't give much comfort to WDW goers but it obviously can be shown (return) in the DCA theatre currently showing Philarmagic.

That’s fine. They built a duplicate in California - they could do it again if they wanted.

There are attractions that are so complex to rebuild - they will 99% not happen. Movie ride and energy being great examples.

But muppets could reopen pretty easily if the desire was there.
Just saw Mickey's Philarmagic in DCA. Its8' the theater obviously used previously for Muppetvision.

I think it would pull better numbers than philharmagic - especially now that they moved the marquee / entrance so people would actually know it’s there.

They could always put philharmagic in Tomorrowland in the empty 3d theatre
