MK Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

I thought Alien Encounter had great repeatability...well for me anyway... It was always fun....
A deeply dark space themed area at DHS would be cool.... where you could have the Alien Encounter attraction and a few things to go along with it....a sort of Dystopian Tomorrowland...the counterpoint to the MK Tomorrowland.
but they have to figure out what to do with Tomorrowland as a whole.... Boot the monsters out, and replace both attractions with something that makes sense for the land...

So when live-action Stitch makes tons of money this summer, are they going to reopen this to take advantage of the hype?

I'm sure its been stripped for parts, but it would still be cheaper than coming up with something new

At this point I'm wondering if there might be a complication with the space itself that's preventing anything from happening. I still remember there being permits filed for gutting in 2021/2022-ish but it never occurred.

Ive heard that Stitch could visit the Tiki room for awhile if the movie makes enough. Probably the same show from Tokyo.

It is shame in a way that ‘Stitch’s Great Escape’ is not still operating, even ‘seasonally’.
The Attraction would have likely seen a sudden influx in demand due to Stitch about to become an even bigger phenomenon in about two weeks from now.

An entirely new generation of potential Theme Park guests are about to be introduced to this character via the upcoming live action film release.
This former Attraction could have seen a succesful new life, or possibly be reworked or overlaid to relate to the upcoming live action film.

A missed opportunity.

Two schools of thought with Stitch. He goes to Tiki Room (clone) a hard pill to swallow for Walt Disney presents purists... or he goes to Laugh Floor as Stitch Encounter (clone) essentially swapping one digital puppetry interactive show for another. Speculative until it isn't.

I'm fine with Monsters Inc leaving Tomorrowland, especially now that Monsters will have its own land in DHS.

I'm telling you, we gotta make sure Elio is successful.
I think Stitch is gonna lead Tomorrowland into the next decade, for better or worse.

I think when it's time for the Tomorrowland ticket to be punched, they'll redo Cosmic Ray's with the Stitch area due to the glorious mineral known as asbestos. Disney has sorta abandoned Stitch, left him on the side for the last 10 years or so, so once the remake makes a billion dollars and sets the world on fire, Disney is gonna milk an alien.

I for one, welcome our hypothetical Stitch dark ride.

Very strange this attraction has been down for such a long time and has no sort of update. Hopefully D23 gives us an update on it, such a weird thing to just leave abandoned. I thought Buzz or Zurg could have been a cool replacement but I guess they just decided to completely revamp the space ranger spin instead. I just don't know what IP could possibly fit there.

What about the Stitch Encounter from Tokyo? With Monsters Laugh Floor and the abandoned Stitch’s Great Escape it seems like it would be an easier fit space-wise.
