Trip Report Food, Flowers & FARTS… Festival Fun In 2025

I’m taking a page from @Tuvalu 's playbook and combining our 2025 adventures together. Perhaps I’ll even keep it (mostly) updated?? Lol

I think it sounds pretty normal; that’s a lot to handle “in addition to” [add all your normal life stuff here]. Remember that on an airplane they remind us to take care of our own mask before helping others with theirs.

After France, we began our journey around WS taking our time enjoying all the festivities.

We began in Morocco and Hope started the search for Figment.

We weren’t having a lot of luck. Julia noticed the food studio there and wanted to get one of the lamb kebabs. She also got the mint tea. Funny… I don’t think we have ever eaten anything from Morocco. The bread was very yummy and the tea refreshing.

We sat down and snacked and relaxed a bit. It was almost 1 o’clock, so I got my phone ready to go. Sure enough, at 12:59: 59, I hit refresh and I did NOT get the virtual queue for GoG! We were all very sad.


Hope discovered something…

Epcot was absolutely crazy. It was wall to wall people, many of which were cheerleaders.

We walked around, looking at all the artwork. They were all beautiful! Julia found one of Tink and friends that she knew she wanted… but wanted to look at everything else before she made her final choice.

We walked though Japan and Julia was so excited to see that they were serving Matcha!!!!

Hope found Figment in America pretty easily...

As we continued our walk, we heard a very familiar voice!

Ding, ding, ding...WDW Kevin! (IYKYK) He was so sweet and was happy to take a picture with Hope. He even gave her some stickers.

We walked over to the Land to ride Soarin and LWTL.

Am I crazy or did they completely neglect LWTL for this festival? They always seem to seamlessly incorporate the festivals into this ride, but not this one. I couldn't find one mention of it on the ride - not even food used in the festival booths. Okay - I am probably overreacting. lol

We stopped for a bite to eat and then pick up our magnets.

There was a dance party going on so of course, Hope had to check it out!

And while she danced, Julia got the soft shell crab dish. She enjoyed it. I tried a bite and it was okay, but did they have to put Sebastien on a plate?

Time to head out of EPCOT...

We exited EPCOT through the International Gateway and began our journey to HS to see Fantasmic! At first, I thought we should take the Skyliner, but after a short chat with a CM, who suggested it would be MUCH faster to walk, we changed our plans. We all broke the news to our feet and began our way over towards the Boardwalk. The walk was easy and it was a beautiful night so no one was complaining. Besides, we needed to walk off some calories right?

We got to Hollywood Studios and walked to the restrooms over by ToT. I didn’t want to get caught in the traffic of the first showing of Fantasmic! walking out. Hope wanted to ride and I managed to get a return time for it. Would we make it in time?

We did! This time, the popcorn bucket made an appearance in the photo. Good grief! No more popcorn buckets on rides!!

We headed to Fantasmic and got seats. It was only half filled. It’s so much nicer going to the second show. We had awesome seats - right in the middle.

There was some sort of an after hours event at HS. But I don’t think it was the official after hours. I could see all the cheerleaders heading into the park, so I wondered if it wasn’t something just for all the teams.

I was expecting a long line on the Skyliner, but surprisingly there was absolutely none, so we hopped on board.

We stopped in the food court and shared some chicken tenders and fries. Hope had some mac & cheese.

And we settled in for the night. It was another long day and a lot of fun.
