I have two options. Please let me know which one works best for your group.

I'm so glad that the way to not experience strobe lights for 20-30 minutes straight is buying their express pass. Maybe more parks should add effects like these in the queue to sell more too ;)

instead they created VQ only and charged you to wait traditionally with the name Individual Lightning Lane. :p

Nobody is saying that at all. What is being said is Universal didn't build all these hotels for guests to into visit Epic for a day and not stay on property.

And at the time of this posting if you are going from May 22nd to June 15th and have yet to get tickets, you have no day option and must purchase multiple day ticket options that include EPIC.

Yes, I recognize Universal’s strategy here, but we’ve gone very far from where we initially started. I just said that someone visiting Epic is not necessarily going to go to all three parks. Many certainly will, but it’s not a guaranteed done deal.
Of course it is not. But that is not much different than the MK halo effect.
And as of now, still over a month from opening and nearly two months from now days are sold out for just day admission to EPIC.
There are certainly variables to acknowledge, but one would see that for when it is likely that someone taking just a day to EPIC and no other Universal park would be someone not an AP holder and was curious, and not going to the other parks anyway, and Uni still then got near 200 bucks a pop plus their parking(and maybe hotel)
Looks like the strategy largely worked for various market behavior graphics to me.

To claim that they are Disney Level when they have operations and park hours that rival that of SeaWorld

Are you talking about attraction operational efficiency? Because UOR is actually one of the most efficient theme parks in that regard. Comparing it to SeaWorld's operations is a pretty big insult and wildly inaccurate.

In terms of shuffling large crowds around their parks and food service efficiency, no, they're not quite at Disney's level.

I’ve mentioned this to you before but I do think we still need be cognizant of single-day tickets not being the only option in the available universe of tickets. You can still buy any non-Opening Day ticket to Epic if you agree to spend two more days at USF/IOA.

I don’t know how close these are to selling out (and they certainly could be!) and I still believe the parks will be plenty busy those first few weeks, but I’d also believe more of these multi-day tickets would be sold out if the demand for an Epic + Legacy UOR vacation was ultra-high right now.

This is exactly what I meant.

This ensures Epic is controlled due to demand. Notice you can't hop into EPIC on hopping days even if you pay for the hoppable(Park to Park) tickets. No matter how many you buy, you get to select one EPIC day at your multi day discounted rate.
Yes demand for multiple parks is currently very high.

I have a hard time believing people buying multi day tickets to Universal for Epic Universe and not going to the other parks at all.

There may be some who would do that. The ones who would do that aren't Universal fans but just want to see Epic.

The people buying multi-days are certainly going to the other parks, we just have no idea how many multi-days have actually sold.

I don’t think anyone’s going to skip days they already paid for but I still think a large percent of visitors (long term) will simply combine IOA and US into a single hopper day and use their 2nd day for Epic. US isn’t far from deserving its own day but it’s also not quite there yet, if they replace RRR with a solid coaster and add a second e-ticket style ride they could probably justify a full day from most visitors.

Maybe that happens. IMO that thinking is from the Disney fan mindset. For most here, Universal is the 1-2 day add-on to a Disney vacation.

While Universal doesn't see the same attendance or resort stays as Disney. They do get a significant amount of people staying there for multiple days.
