I meant to say weeks into the next "guest dates."
And better capacity is not full capacity. Ha.

Also, to the penguin, these previews arw doj g everything right as it has given TMs , as well as their loved o es a cha ce to enjoy the park as the rush of opening will habe their IDs and comp tickets blocked for awhile.
All while tinkering and ironing. No park has ever opened this "ready" before.
I wouldn't call firing a whole bunch of TMs doing everything right.

The clips looked awesome but this looks like a really, really extended version of the Forbidden Journey dementors scene. I’m certain the video did a bad job capturing the details but I’m tempering my expectations back down a bit after the hype I felt with the first leak.

The Frankenstein lightning animatronic is still ridiculously awesome, though.

Local exec level saw it and realized that people are not going to stop and watch a live music band for very long as they rush their way to the other portals.

However, perhaps a bit misjudged as time goes on and people want to be enteratined besides rushing during TM previews before their limited time is up(and the first set of previews had a schedueled agenda, so even less people stopping)

yeah, doesn't seem like TM previews are a fair time to judge something like that

I think Helios is on par with all of the Walt Disney World's in theme park park view rooms and suites of hotels with direct access to the theme park it is attached directly to.

I've seen a bunch of negative takes, particularly on the rooms ... but I think a lot of that is stemming from the price point and not including the express perk when you can get that at cheaper resorts

We are doing two nights there in a theme park view room prior to Destination D23 and from what I have seen (trying to avoid tons of spoilers) it looks rather nice and the views/location obviously are awesome and Bar Helios looks great

No
For anyone who's been on Battle for the Ministry, does the attraction have the rumored
extended animatronic Erumpent chase scene
similar to the
Indominus Rex chase scene
on
Jurassic World Adventure
at Universal Studios Beijing? If you don't know what I'm referring to, it starts at tie stamp 2:09 of this

I would not either.

But that is just how out of touch you are
A venue was cut,but the cast and crew themselves were rehomed and many already had full time contracted positions elsewhere.

It is not the mouse or merlin my dear birdy.

And if anyone did actually get cut from payroll, that is little to do with you saying they should not have invited family and friend comp tickets for previews so early.

I like the intimacy and some animatronics give true performances.
The ride does look to be another chaotic cacophony. One pace, one setting, one scrap of story.
Still gives more of a Spirit Halloween vibe (Igor, the Dr, and Dracula especially) over Universal's Classic Monsters.
Phantom scene looks wonderful. Frankenstein's movements look labored in the best way.
Several animatronics seem to simply flail at guests with some even appearing to be re-skins of the same animatronic doing the same exact thing.

Is it a game changer?
I guess if you discount every animatronic Disney has put out since the Wicked Witch and you hated Forbidden Journey, then absolutely yes.

Regardless, this is clearly a top-notch multi-media extravaganza.
Can't wait to ride it myself
