This 100%

Every time I see either fireworks show and have to listen to an instrumental "you've got a friend in me" for the one millionth time, I get ed. Any then I hear all the tourists oohing and ahhing at it and I guess I get it.

But I feel like they used to make cool things that many people will enjoy, not just give them exactly what they're looking for. We'll see if this can avoid the toy story/go the distance/tangled script they've been using
You get what now?

I thought the word I chose was family friendly. Starts with a p and is a synonym for urinating. It was of course an exaggeration and I could have just said I dislike hearing the same damn song in every single show.
I guess I wouldn't say it in front of children. Not that any children should be participating in this forum! (For what it's worth, I also hate hearing that song.)

A couple more months till we get a preview of the music? Sounds like it will be revealed pretty close to the debut. Are they that afraid of potential backlash? Lol.
I don’t think that’s it at all. I think it’s more what purpose does revealing the music months in advance serve? There’s not really a point to using that as promotion when most people are gonna be more interested in the floats themselves. Dissecting parade soundtracks is a uniquely Disney Parks Fandom activity lol

I wonder what happened to these? Did they get scrapped or auctioned off in the end? I remember them hanging around longer backstage when all the other floats were already scrapped, they'd always show up in the weirdest places.

It's inclusion here is not part of some master plan to nurture the property. It's just dumb luck that they decided to build a float for a flop and likely figured there's no sense trying to redesign something else from scratch.
I really don't think so... It was never mentioned in the concept art or plans. And it's just a parade float. It's not that complex of a thing to replace. They're probably just looking at their options for the most recent animated IP they have.

Since Wish... We've only had Inside Out 2 and Moana 2 in over a year. Moana's already on the float. Before Wish? We had Elemental, Strange World, Lightyear, and Turning Red since 2022........

........Not many options here.... lol

They really need to stop putting Peter Pan into parades. It is not that popular of a movie. It's a bit weird and creepy honestly.
While the movie may be past its prime... Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are still some of the most popular Disney characters amongst the Disney fan base... In Disney terms, they probably make more money from THAT particular decade of Disney movie history than any other IP from that time today in 2025.

They're always a great IP to incorporate into anything because they're, somehow, still very relevant characters with a semi-popular attraction in the park. I think the only other IP that keeps up with that kind of popularity from the Walt Disney-Made Movie Era is possibly The Jungle Book, as far as sales and such go for Disney.

Pinocchio and Dumbo don't quite hit that mark anymore... And Cinderella + Aurora have been replaced by the Renaissance princesses for millennials and 90s lovers, and the 3D animated princesses for the kids today.

But all generations are still fascinated with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell! They're fun. You also factor in the Tinkerbell movie series, the spinoff shows.... Coupled with the whole "pixie dust" and magic that Disney literally stands for (Probably another reason why Wish makes the cut too)

Plus Tink still gets lots of Love during HEA!

Elemental and Turning Red could make for some fun floats (though Turning Red was featured in a recent parade at Disneyland)

But Elemental with water and fire and stuff could be cool

If Wish is a medium size float like this I am wonder if Frozen will be as well. The concept art told us nothing so either it will be a smaller size float or they just were not ready to reveal it yet. My hope is a large size float since Elsa and Anna’s presence in FoF is hardly anything.
The Wish float looks to be a very small, circular, fill in float.
