Considering Ahsoka was reportedly going to be a 2-season show before Filoni’s movie, per Making Star Wars, I’m not surprised this, like Andor, will be a 2-season-only show.

If it only makes it to two seasons, the biggest reason will be the 3(or more) year break between seasons. Where people won't remember much of what happened in the show except it wasn't good enough to warrant a rewatch.

This is my subjective opinion, but contrasted to Andor which also had too long a gap, I actually am looking forward and eager to rewatch it before the next season. At which point all enthusiasm for anything new from Disney and Star Wars ends.

Rory McCann will reportedly take on the role of Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka Season 2:

Scottish actor Rory McCann, best known for playing the burly brute The Hound on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will replace late actor Ray Stevenson for a second season of Star Wars show Ahsoka, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Stevenson played the hulking former Jedi known as Baylan Skoll in the Disney+ series. He died after a brief illness in May 2023, three months before the series premiered. The actor was a fan favorite, thanks to his resonate voice, humor and roles in Punisher: War Zone, the Thor movies and TV’s Rome.

I wonder whose going to be stabbed multiple times with a lightsaber this season. I don't know how Qui Gon died from just one. Geez what a wimp! Nowadays you can be stabbed over and over and just need to walk it off (Reva, Sabine, Cal Kestis, Grand Inquisitor). They can even be cut in half and return (Darth Maul).
You do know Qui-Gon Jinn was stabbed in his spine right?

He was hit in vital organs and died.

Sabine got stabbed in organs that can be replaced or patched up, specifically her appendix.

Also, if we’re going by that logic, the Gungan King Boss Lyonie should have died after being stabbed by a dagger in that episode of Season 4 of The Clone Wars but he survived thanks to having bandages that stopped bleeding.

Just like Sabine.

So use logic and not bias.

He was definitely the highpoint of the show for me. And the flashbacks with Anakin were good as well. Overall it was just all very average. Hopefully season two isn't written and acted so wooden.
Based on Filoni’s comments on the press line at Celebration Japan and that concept art teaser for Season 2, I think it will be better made than Season 1 and better done with cast acting and visual flare as well, especially since they’re shooting in London this time and not using The Volume anymore.

Also, I think Rory McCann will do Ray Stevenson proud in taking over for the role of Baylan Skoll.
Yeah, it was a really weird show for me. Sometimes the characters would just stand around and not say anything. It made it feel like they were trying to extend the runtime. What was supposed to be a 40 minute episode turned into a 60 minute.
Weird does not mean “bad.”

I really hope so. They really didn't do any of the main characters justice. And it's strange because these are Filonis characters so I was expecting a whole lot more.
