I doubt Merck will sponsor WoL. I work for them and I'm pretty sure that sponsoring a ride is out of the question. It would be a great way to boost the company's image and be able to visit a VIP lounge, but sadly that's wishful thinking.
With Epcot's 25th coming up, is Disney trying to court a new group of sponsors into the park? With Spaceship Earth getting a new sponsors, it leaves only the Universe of Energy and Wonders of Life sponsorless. I mean it would be great if all the rides in Future World would have sponsors again...
Does anybody remember a superbowl commercial GE put out a few years back that featured the Horizons Omnisphere sequence? If so, were can you find it online? I have been searching everywhere for it.
Audio on the buses
I would belive this because during my last trip in late March, I was on a test bus that had the audio system from the Pop Century to the Magic Kingdom. It was really cool to hear the monorail guy (his name escapes me at the moment) talking and the music. Afterwards, I went...
Does anybody have or know where there are pictures of the storage area for the TTA in Space Mountain? I've always wondered what it looks like whenever I go into Space Mountain on TTA
While I was down at Disney, I took the Undiscovered Future World Tour. Really awesome but I will not tell any details and spoil it for anyone. Anyway, while I was on the tour, two points of interest came up from the guide that I thought I would get opinions on here. For one, I was told that...
Also something I noticed
I also got back from the world last night 3/25 and I noticed something. On all the rides, they have announcements saying for parents to watch their children. I know this sounds horrible but this was long overdue cause I have seen kids running all over the place...
Did anyone catch last night's Modern Marvels? My Tivo did and I will have to say, it was incrediable. Although I knew a lot of the facts and trivia that they presented, it was cool to see the backstage areas as well as models and testing of rides.
Did anyone catch Family Guy where Stewie and Peter go to Disney World. I was laughing so hard, espically when Peter tells Michael Eisner he betrayed the stockholders!!!
I remember the circus. I must have been around 1987 since it was the first year my brother went with my family. I don't remember much about it but I do remember that an elephant on stage took a dump and it really smelled up the place. :hurl:
My Pet Peeve's
Parents that can't control their kids. My folks would never have allowed me to act the way some of these kids do. It gets me to wonder who's the parent and who's the child.
Young teenagers that think they are invincible. On my latest trip while in the queue to Thunder...
