Good luck with getting tickets!
Now they've reduced it from 4 to 2 tickets per member, it's gonna be a no go for me as there is 5 in my party. Shame, but looks like I'll miss out on the ride by 4 days 😭
Got a couple of questions about D23 previews if someone can help;
- How quickly on average do these events sell out? Are tickets gone in seconds?
- I'm out there for the event date and leave just a few days before the opening day for Guardians. I've been looking forward to riding for years. Do...
What do we think the chances of normal guest previews for GotG will be? I leave 4 days before it opens so was really hoping to catch some kind of soft 🤞
Just to confirm;
Yes, Hocus Pocus merch has been pulled from sale (a few items were accidentally sold a few days ago, but it was not generally sold). Likely to be some sort of copyright/artwork issue as designs were very close to another artist's work. It is suspected that all produced merch...
As far as i'm aware, the effect hasn't changed significantly since it started - a performer dressed as Tinkerbell (and yes, i've known of male Tinks too...) is literally pushed from a window at the top of the castle and is caught in a net on top of Tomorrowland Terrace. I'm not sure they'd ever...
Very strange. I'd hazard a guess that it there was probably a performer issue then (maybe the scheduled performer didn't turn in or something...). I'm sure Tink will be back soon! :)
Definitely sounds like the projector may have moved ever so slightly which is causing the blurriness. Was there a storm nearby? There are a lot of reasons Tink can't fly (since she is flying on a metal wire!).
I doubt the intended fireworks have even arrived now. The fireworks are ordered 8-16 months ahead of time, and seeing as HEA was rushed from concept to final show in less than 6 months, they are still using up the left over Wishes shells. I've heard from multiple sources that the current finale...
Star Wars model is confirmed and will be on the showfloor.
Not sure about media being let in early, they did last year but haven't heard anything about it this year.
From DISBoards user 'writerguyfl':
"I used to work at the Disney Reservations Center. While this certainly could be something major, it doesn't have to be. This sort of thing was done whenever something potentially big was going to be announced. For example, I remember when "Mission: Space" was...
Thanks, haven't looked at the DHS permit thread yet. Yep, I noticed that other permit. Would sure be nice if it were more than painting though! Thanks again
Noticed the permit filed this week for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, expiring in November, has the contractor as PCL construction (the people behind WWoHP, some things in Springs, Gondola project etc.). Its probably not, but do you think it could be something?
I contacted the Twitter user who said the photos were taken yesterday. That is not to say things haven't been like that for ages as in that photo above from 2016.
They likely won't do any 'on stage' work until the park is closed for its annual refurbishment in October. They are currently working on clearing some trees and backstage areas behind the Red Slopes.
